Poor customer service. Food is good but not extraordinary, and not worth waiting for delivery which may or may not come, as happened last night. Ordered. last night at 7pm , told an hour ,at 8:40pm still no food. Food never arrived, but my credit card was charged. Bad business! I am amending this review, after speaking with John our food order from last night was delivered this afternoon,as well as a gift certificate for our next order as well as a very heart felt apology! Thank you for making things right!

well just for everyone to know; when making orders, make sure you spell what you want over the phone or lelse they will give you the wrong order; food is ok, a bit overpriced, and they lack customer service skills; normally when you make an order and rhey have made a mistake, you give some kind of courtesy in return, like something for free! maybe they need the money, who knows; make sure you have enough money; they charge, delivery fee plus all these mysterious fees on your check..

Food is good, nothing extraordinary but decent. Red sauce is sort of an of an odd blend of bland & too sweet. DELIVERY is ridiculous though. Have tried them 4 times, the fastest delivery time was 2 hours, but can take over 3 hours. Not that they tell you when you order - always claiming it will be under and hour. If you call them about it, they are absolutely unapoloegtic. If you are going to rder, do it in person and wait there - that is only way to get food in under an hour.

Excellent food, and excellent service. The food is always top quality, and servings are plentiful. The service is always friendly and helpful. And John the owner is a pillar of the community: if theres ever a community event that needs the support of local business owners, it is well known that John will always help. All local businesses should follow the Italian Connection model.

We get pizza from Italian Connection. I have lived in a dozen parts of the country in the past 10 years, and this is my favorite pizza yet. For me, a good pizza starts with the crust, and this place nails it. Chewy and delicious flavor. The cheese is very good, and so is the sauce. We dont really call anyone else these days; Italian Connection is consistently our favorite.

I love this place for many reasons. First, the owner is a class act who has been a true gentleman, sponsor and friend to me for 30 years. His passion for filling bellies with yummy food and ensuring you feel like you are at home shines through the new generation of staff. 2nd the food is always amazing!

This place is home of the HUGE portions. The slices here are the size of two and a half at most other pizzerias. Sandwiches are enough for two or three meals (the prosciutto sandwich has enough ham on it to serve as a snack at a party... Most places skimp out). Great entrées and they cater as well.

I ordered here on Monday and will probably never go back. I ordered a large pie,eggplant rollatini, and buffalo wings . The pie was burnt and it tasted like they didnt let the dough rise . The eggplant lacked taste and the sauce seemed like a jarred prego . The buffalo wings were decent though.

Very simply, its good food! Try the dinners: Chicken w/Prosciutto & Cheese; Chicken Gerardi; or for a pasta dish: Penne Vodka w/Prosciutto & Peas...outta this world delicious! John & All the Folks working there are sooooo sweet. It really is Dumont at its Finest!

Sometimes great, sometimes not so much. Still, in the Northern Bergen County area, there arent many decent take out/delivery Italian restaurants. When their food is good, its great. I just wish they were more consistent.

Closest thing to home. I moved here from Brooklyn and couldnt find any decent pizza restaurants. Italian connection has the closest taste to Brooklyn. And their penne vodka is Yum yum

i think its actually pretty good food.. i havent tried the pizza. all i ever get is penne vodka, and cream of mushroom soup, and there both fantastic.
