My only experience with Greek food is ordering Gyros from a booth on the boardwalk so I was very excited to try some authentic Greek cuisine. I went out to lunch with a business associate. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. She explained that this is a family owned place. She was great with our questions and made recommendations for both of us. We both followed her recommendations and got the Gyro platter including the Greek salad. We also got the meatballs and the zuchini app. A+ on the service. The salad was spectacular. The Feta was the best I have ever tasted. The olives were great. A+ on the salad. The apps were great too. The meatballs were the most unique I ever had. Tart and tender. Solid A on the apps. And the Gyro platter? Just amazing. The rice was fluffy and flavorful. The veggies grilled to perfection and the chicken and pork were great. Solid A on the main course The prices were very reasonable and the food came fast and cooked properly. The waitress was there every time we needed something. Overall we had a great experience. Highly recommended. Solid A for the overall experience.

A surprising gem in Bergen county. We had the grilled octopus appetizer and ribeye with grilled veggies. Both were perfectly prepped. Octopus was buttery soft on the inside and seared just right on the outside. The ribeye was properly seasoned, cooked by someone who knows a bit about steaks and all kinds of delicious. Squash, zucchini and roasted pepper rounded everything out nicely. The owner came by all tables to personally inquire about everyones meals. Not hard to do, since the dining area is about the size of a large living room (but not in a bad way). We got lucky and scored a table just before closing time, but contrary to other experiences at restaurants when closing, we did not feel in the least bit during our meal. Our entire meal was prepared and served with care and attention to detail. At the end, we were treated to an unexpected dessert on the house and left feeling like we discovered a great place to stop in for a nice meal. Highly recommended. Will definitely be back with some friends.

I just finished a 2 hour business meeting in Concord and had a long drive back to Santa Clara. I decided to try this place to get some food in my system half-way through the drive back. I was expecting bad service but the food is usually good. To my surprise, the service had completely changed. It appears new management is running the place and they cleaned house of all the bad attitude waiters. It was pleasant to be approached with a nice smile and a receptive waiter. Also the manager was watching the waiters, so that may have had something to do with it. Great job turning around horrible customer service to good service. Management bringing out the whip.

Used a GroupOn pormo here... As a Greek and having tried many different restaurants I thought this place was good. The menu selection had all the usual suspects and food tasted well. The Greek salad was good, with good feta. The pita bread with humus was a nice touch and we had grilled calamari, which I prefer over fried. Lamb I had was well seasoned and reasonably cooked. Service was good, despite the place being very busy (always a good sign.). Staff friendly, and the cook came over to ask us how the food was. The place is on the small side, so Id call ahead for a big group.

Love this place. The food is incredible and the people are great. I have experienced some issues with take-out /delivery the past few visits. No utensils, napkins, condiments, tzatziki. I encouraged my co-workers to order a group lunch and a few things were mixed up and again no utensils, etc. Not sure if this is due to new staff as Ive never had this problem before. Not knocking this place at all. Stop by you will not be dissapointed. Im just hoping someone from the restaurant will read this and fix it...not fun eating trying to eat rice without utensils

While in the area on business, my collegue found this place online and we figured wed give it a shot for dinner last night. The place is amazing! Its tiny inside, parking is tough, and youll probably drive right past it like we did by mistake but once the food comes youll be impressed and the other things simply will not matter. The service was fantastic! I had the best authentic Greek meal that I have ever had. We liked it so much we returned tonight for a second great meal. Its BYO. Give it a shot, you will not be disappointed!!

Best Greek Restaurant in NJ. They Have the best grilled octopus! Everything was great the greek salad was good the fried calamari. Dont let the size fool you! They Gave use Free desert on the house. Its a shame that nobody knows about this place. I drove an 1hr just to go there. It Awesome Lamb Souvlaki Platter with Potatoes is the best things on the menu in my Opinion. Im not a fan of octopus at all, when i tried it, it made me like octopus but Ill only eat it from there. The owner is Greek. He knows what hes doing. Thumbs UP!

Started ordering delivery from this place over a year ago and the food was good and still is, however, the service and attitude of the staff has gone way down hill. Our last three orders were missing stuff or wrong, the portions have also been shrinking and they added a $15 delivery minimum. Each time weve called to have the order corrected the staff has been rude and sarcastic. This place should learn who their regulars "were" before they lose more. Try Gyro Corner in Emerson, they deliver to River Edge too.

This is the best Greek food around without question. My husband and I continue to order out from here and we are never disappointed. We have another Greek restaurant just minutes from our home but it is worth the extra drive or the extra wait for delivery. The hummus is super creamy and well seasoned. The lemon chicken soup is sumptuous! Salads are always fresh and crisp. Chicken shish kabob is tender, veggies perfectly done. When they have the lamb shank special.... Do not pass it up!!

Best Greek food Ive ever had. Period. Loved the atmosphere and space, and great service. Owner was kind and even stopped by our table to ask how the food was. I had the vegetarian hot plate and my boyfriend had the chicken gyro - both were amazing. Also tried the zucchini fritz as an appetizer and would recommend! Also BEST side Greek salad ever. Get one even if it doesnt come with your dish. Trust me. Ordered baklava to go and did not regret it :) Will be back again and again.

I get take-out from here probably twice a month, and their food is consistently very good, if not outstanding. I havent eaten in the restaurant, but usually see it pretty full as seating is limited. A Taste of Greece is still a gem for sure. I wouldnt say its a hidden gem anymore because it always seems busy when I walk in. The owner and staff are also very friendly, and my experience has always been good here.

This is one of our favorites. Small, quaint restaurant and the food never disappoints. BYOB which we like as well. Try the artichokes (with balsamic vinegar), the zucchini patties, or the grilled octopus for appetizer. For the meal, our favorites are stuffed chicken and chicken shish. Greek Salad as a meal is also pretty amazing - comes with excellent stuffed grape leaves.
