BBQ chain with a big emphasis on giving to local law enforcement and military groups with decent food. We were in the area for Sams and Target and this had decent reviews. I ordered the 2 meat sampler with pulled chicken and brisket with no sides since my gf was getting sides in her sandwich meal. The food comes out on a metal tray and sampler truly is that...a sample that doesnt take up even half the tray. This is one of the very few places in the area that has good chicken that isnt not too dry. The brisket was a bit dry but decent while the cornbread that was included was extremely dry. The little bit of mac and cheese and pulled pork I had from her meal was tasty. I believe we waited....2 minutes until our name was called at the counter so that was a huge plus. We would def come back again to try different times on the menu and sit outside when the weather is warmer.

If you like BBQ you will LOVE it after a visit to this amazing BBQ restaurant. From the moment you get out of the car till the second you step through the door the smell alone will just make your mouth water. The food was just amazing. We had the baby back ribs and they just fell off the bone. The smoke rings were perfection and the flavor will haunt me till my next visit. The sides are all fresh and you can tell they are somebodies mommas recipe. The ambience was the best part for us. We are a military family. Lots of friends in the emergency service field and it was totally the place to go to be surrounded by memorabilia from all the local stations.(Fire, Police, EMT as well as every branch of the military) I cant say enough but you have to check this place out to get the whole experience..

I absolutely love this place. They have tons of American pride, which is great to see. Its also nice to come to a restaurant and have people genuinely care about you. From the second we stepped through the front door to the second we left, they were nothing but pleasant. Ordering is easy, they ask for your name to personalize the experience. The food was ready before my boyfriend and I even got our drinks and condiments together. Once we finished eating, a young gentleman asked if he could take our trash. When we asked if the signature sauces were sold by the bottle he informed us that they werent but that he would fill up ramekins for us if we wanted. I loved everything about this place and I cant wait to go back.

Im from VA and staying in Philly for work. The bbq place near me closed due to rain. Then I went to a restaurant with high reviews for pulled pork Sammy. They got rid of it. So I drove 38 mins to Deptford, NJ mission Bbq. I ordered a pint of pulled pork and they just ran out! I said "oh no I just drove soo long to get here!" And then left. This SWEET BEAUTIFUL young cashier came to me in the parking lot and gave me a the few bites of pulled pork left to go and was so sweet about it and I thank her so much bc it made my night!!! Thank you for going above and beyond in customer service and you are so wonderful!

Friends of ours purchased food for our gathering from Mission BBQ. We had the pulled pork, and the pulled chicken. We also had the green beans and the cornbread. The sauces for the meat were served on the side. That was some of the best barbecued food we had ever tasted. All of our guests loved the food! There is no Mission BBQ where we live; the closest one is 40 minutes away and we were so pleased that our friends introduced this place to us, especially because of its service to our veterans and the cause. How do we get a MISSION BBQ near Egg Harbor City New Jersey?!

This was our first time here and it will definitely not be our last. From the moment we came thru the door, the hostess Michelle greeted us with a pleasant personality. I ordered the smoked salmon which was cooked just right along with the collard greens and bananna pudding. My other half ordered the full rack which was falling off the bone, string beans, mac n cheese and coleslaw. 5 stars is to low for the great food and service.

There are very few BBQ places in this area but I would come here if there were plenty of them. The bbq is cooked perfectly. They have 6 different sauces to choose from. Smokey mountain is my favorite. They have kids meals so its great for kids. They also support military and first responders. I would recommend to try this place. Clean, great food, and friendly service you cant beat it!

Wonderful! From the moment we walked in and they said hi, to the helpful people taking our order, to the lovely young lady Allison, who chatted with us at our table, the experience was fantastic. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is easy and laidback. The restaurant stayed full our entire visit. I highly recommend Mission BBQ and will most certainly be back!

I cant say enough about it here !!! Staff is Always friendly ..the food is fantastic !! ..I recently tried whole hog BBQ ..while it wasnt bad ...it wasnt MISSION BBQ !! I found myself comparing that place to here during my entire meal ..I fell in love with this place the first time I came in and Ive been here many many times since!!!! Keep it up Mission BBQ

The best! We went shopping and didnt watch the time. Mission bbq just opened and we opened the doors and heard the Star Spangled Banner. Saw hands over hearts saluting, we were moved to tears. Fantastic! Had the generous sampler combo. DELICIOUS! The samples they came around with were great too. We were stuffed. Great experience. We will be back!

Visited deptford for the first time today and decided to stop by. AMAZING!!!! Best meatloaf Ive ever tasted and the cobbler melted in my mouth! Im glad I caught the seasonal items before they left. I came in with a group of friends and all of us ordered something different so I was able to taste a little bit of everything. It is a must go to spot!

I never write reviews but I must say this place was great!! Everything we ordered was fresh & delicious!! Especially the ribs! We placed a lg pickup order & I was so impressed with the staff. Everyone was so helpful & friendly. They were super busy but everyone was still smiling & going out of there way to help each other. Great restaurant

During a slow time, about 3 p.m., a customer had a lot of questions that lasted literally 7 minutes while a line formed. What looked like a manager sat in a chair by the smoker and had what seemed to be a social conversation. 4 other employees stood and waited while this customer ordered. Could only imagine what a dinner rush looks like.

Their dedication to our Servicemen and women and our first responders is unmatched and for that I visited. The staff were extremely nice and even recommended a few things for me to try. While the brisket was a little dry for my liking it was still delicious and paired great with their sauce recommendations. Would definitely visit again.
