Im typing this while waiting for my dinner to cook after throwing the dinner my wife just picked up from there in the trash, literally. $8 for an 8-inch meatball sandwich, which literally tastes like burnt rubber mixed with what Id imagine a rotted carcass tastes like. Bread has got to be three days old. Took a bite, spit it out. Second bite, tried to chew it and spit that out. Gone. Wife just took a bite of her brisket. Made a face like she had eaten feces. I went over and took a bite. Horrible. Wawa would have been better. I wish I were bashing here. I actually cannot explain how bad this food is and how much I wish I didnt have to cook more so I could go shove it up someones rear end at this place. How in the hell do you mess up a meatball sandwich?

If you took the time to read a couple of reviews you will see they dont answer the phone, This is true. My self and my wife were looking forward to getting some get BBQ but that was not the case we got a 3 protein platter. The rib and the brisket were dry but I did like the flavor. And so was the cornbread I will assume it was from sitting under a heating element. The mac and cheese was cool the baked beans were a five bean not a fan personally. And lastly the prices were around normal BBQ prices and the service was great. Dont take my single visit to heart I will be going back to give the another shot a little earlier in the day.

Pure slop. I considered using the term dog food. However the neighbors dog decided his food was better than mine and walked away from it. The brisket was fatty and chewy. The potatoes in the potato salad were under cooked while the flavor was more of a watered down ranch dressing. The barbeque sauce was more ketchup with molasses or brown sugar and cayenne pepper dashed into it. For the price of the food I would call this a wasted experience. Anyone with experience in barbeque such as Texas, Kansas City, or Memphis styles should avoid this establishment as shear disappointment will only prevail.

The food is absolutely great. Sadly, the service is awful. Specifically the fact that I have gotten maybe 3 orders that were actually what I ordered, ever. I just left there now. I ordered a brisket sandwhich, Cole slaw on the sandwhich, with corn bread. What actually showed up? Pulled pork with a pickle. Tonight was a little different though. I had the pleasure of having the bartenders tobacco spit jar on the bar, next to the cash register while I ordered. Just lovely.

Only tried once. It was good and I would go back. However, potatoes in the potato salad were not done enough for me. Neither were the baked beans. Maybe it was the day or I just ordered the wrong thing. Want to try some other things. Maybe that will change my mind. Also I called for take out and the first three times it just rang and rang, then hung up. Finally got through on the 4th call.

Brisket and cornbread was the best thing I order the ribs are ok but it could b more tender the greens was cold and taste greasy from the bacon in it and the mac and cheese was just ok I highly doubt ill go back there for bbq but Ill most Def go back to taste there pasta the food was good but not great

Excellent barbecue at good prices. Portion sizes are large enough to fill up guys my size (215lbs+). We also used them for a catered order for a party, everyone loved it. There is a nice outdoor patio that they open up for warmer months, nice little spot to relax and grab good food and beer.

Fabulous! Drove by often and finally called and ordered. Wasnt expecting a lot but was thrilled when I got home and found juicy, meaty ribs and great collard greens and cornbread. No need to drive into the city for ribs anymore. Just order them here. Wish they delivered!

This place has never dissapointed, I dont understand how some people say food is reheated or frozen thats absolutely insane, its great bbq and the staff has always been kind, polite and genuine. I suggest this place to everyone because its the real deal!!

Very very slow service, and they werent even busy. Everything is clearly cooked and then reheated. The flavor was nice but every single piece of meat was bone dry. The food would be much better if everything was cooked fresh

Holy cow the ribs! This small unseemly place has the best bbq north of the Carolinas. Serving sizes are good and the service is wonderful. If youre looking for a place to go that is not a chain check this place out!

Mac and cheese tasted like it was made with powdered cheese. The potatoes in the potato salad were not cooked all the way. The brisket was fatty and tasted old. The ribs did have a lot of meat on them.

Absolutely horrible. Pulled pork, drowned in bbq sauce. A frozen burger patty from a bbq joint? Hard under cooked beans in the baked beans. Not a pleasant experience.
