There is only one White Diamond Hamburger joint in the world and it is located at exit 135 off the Garden State Parkway. Just dont ever compare them to anyone else. Simply put, they serve the best burger you will ever eat-as long as you know what to order. I am a burger expert and the double cheeseburger that I had there yesterday was the best burger that I ever had. Period. Better than Five Guys, better than In n Out, the best, period. The fries are fresh and served HOT. The burger is juicy and delicious. I dont care if the chef is grumpy, I have been to plenty of NYC restaurants where the staff is downright rude, but the food is unforgettable. I want there twice in the last week, each time the service was very good. One time I was there and some rude customers came in, the chef took a lot of nonsence from those drunks and kept his composure. The servers were friendly and I spoke to the cook afterwards and he seemed friendly as well. He has been working there over 20 years. The only place that could come close to this in terms of a fantastic burger is Bare Burger in NYC. Here is how I rate the burger joints: 1. White Diamond, Clark NJ (Double Cheeseburger) 2. Bare Burger NYC (any burger) 3. Five Guys (Small all the way) 4. In n Out (Animal Style) 5. Burger King (Double Whopper w/extra pickles)

I absolutely used to love this place. It had quick service and the employees used to be friendly. Tonight I walked into this establishment with my girlfriend. When asked what we were ordering I told her a ham and cheese omlette. The womans immediate response was that she scoffed and slammed her notepad on the counter. I asked her if it was ok or if I should change the order and she got very Snippy and said it was fine. Then I ordered a cheese steak and she scoffed again and pulled her hat down to "hide" her emotion. Then before I could finish my order she angrily showed the girl who was cooking and the girl cooking rolled her eyes and sighed. Then the cashier said "like seriously?" Then she turned back to me and asked if I wanted anything else. All I said were two drinks and that was the end of my order. She then said to the cook loudly "we just fu#$ing cleaned and he orders this?" I then turned and said to the cook to cancel our order and my girlfriend and I walked out. Im sorry but that kind of service is entirely unacceptable and I hope the owner or head manager sees this and addresses it immediately.

This restaurant is more like a little van at the corner of a major intersection. However, the fact that a place is weird has never stopped me before from going there. Hence, I decided to take the risk and check it out. However, I will not be spending my money or going back there again. First off, dont be fooled by the low prices. I had the special burger for the low price of $6-something. The special burger was two huge buns with such little meat in it that in fact, that meat was not a patty but rather a bunch of random pieces of meat stuck on bread with many major gaps and bites where I ate just iceberg lettuce and tomato. I think that the amount of meat on my entire burger was the size of a slider meat on a regular bun. The fries were the mushy kind from the freezer. The cheesesteak was better but again, the meat was overburnt and so sparse. I am not sure whats going on with the scarcity of meat but the whole point of ordering a burger is for the meat, and not for the lettuce. I was so disappointed in the meal.

Just went to White Diamond in Clark--Usually Im happy--Today--Every table was filthy--4 tables--One of the workers was sitting at the counter absorbed with his smart phone--I asked him for a rag to clean a table so I could sit down with my wife--He handed me the rag and sat back down with his smart phone--Didnt offer to clean my table or notice the other tables were still filthy---After sitting there for quite some time--We decided to leave because the waitress didnt even say --"Ill be with you shortly"--even though there were hardly any people there----But as we walked out was perfectly able to say--"Have a nice day"--Also--there was no soap in the womens bathroom which doesnt bode well if you want to believe the employees wash their hands well. All my experiences were ok there until today--But now I dont know if I will go back there again.

The regular burger Is disappointing. The big mack at McDonalds has more meat in it. You have to order the double to be able to see your meat between the bun. Cheestake was not bad regular minute stake which I like. Nothing special about it. However, I LOVE THE CHEESE FRIES AND CHEESE ONION RINGS. thats the place to go for those cravings. They give you a huge amount and crap load of cheese. The cost is the next best thing. 2 whole meals for like 18 bucks cant beat it. Just make sure u double up on the burgers well priced.

Im well into my late 20s and live in Los Angeles CA but visit family in NJ ever since i was 9 years old. This place has always been an absolute must for me. My dad would bring me here late at night for grilled cheese, fries and soda as a kid. Some of my favorite memories of NJ revolve around White Diamond. Just took my 2 year old daughter here for the first time and she loved it.

Staff gave us a really hard time. We were ignored and frowned upon when asking questions about the menu. I would never in a million years recommend this place to anyone. The order was wrong, small, and carelessly put together. They really need to either retrain or replace the staff. This is my first negative review. Needless to say I am very disappointed.

Everytime I go back to Jersey, I make it a point to stop here. The food is consistantly good and I have never had a problem in the 20+ years Ive gone there. Im just talking peak hours, you can go in at 2 AM and get the same quality food and service you would get at 2 PM.

A friendly place.. Fast service.. Feels exactly the way a diner should..I had breakfast here and it tasted very good.. Did I say economical also.. People visiting here seemed to be regulars and offered Taylor ham and cheese quite often

Disgusting the kids that work there are just trashy. On top of that i ordered a taylor ham with cheese and extra th there was 2 pieces of taylor ham and no cheese they charged me extra though when i came back the lady was rude

Loved the old sign! Very, Very clean bathroom. This is extremely important to me. The food was good clean tasty food. The people running the business were great. Its like an old fashioned diner.

I agree with Jonathan that the old sloppy looking fry-guy is nasty rude and unclean, seen him take out the garbage and then proceed to make burgers without washing his hands.....disgusting !

Quick and simple, but tasty. Worth the time and money to stop in. Its Saturday.. But I imagine on a weekday, great for a quick morning breakfast if you have a couple minutes to spare.
