This is the old village burger with some fresh paint, new tables and new knick knacks. They serve everything ala carte which is really a racket. For 2 kids and myself we spent $38, ouch! Here is what we ordered. One burger with cheese and bacon( bacon was burnt and yes, cheese is extra) fries (shoestring they were ok) and large soda (16oz). Another burger with cheese (extra) LTO (free...wow), fries and large drink and another fry and lemonade for my 4 yr old.( he doesnt eat much). All that for $38!!! For that price I expect grass fed beef or something high quality. The burger at least was not a thin little patty and was on par with most non-fast food burger joints. I was really hoping that this new burger place would have figured it out. Maplewood is parents and kids and we are looking for a reasonable price place to eat with decent food especially for a burger joint. This is just another "good enough" establishment in downtown Maplewood. Dont waste your money.

What I ordered: I ordered a hamburger and French fries. When: Friday, dinner-time. Three word summary: They cut corners. Full review: Prices are very high for what youre getting. 1/4 burger for $6.95? Crazy. Its in a very good area with a lot of foot traffic. A lot of competing restaurants. They need to be a better value or they will be closing their doors soon. The burger was good, but as I said, for $6.95, at a Five Guys, I could get a double hamburger with all the toppings. The fries were OK, but nothing special; standard frozen fries. They had Jones brand soda, which I like, but some people might not be fans and walk away. Plus, their "Large" soda, although with free refills, is maybe 16 ounces. As I said in the summary, it comes across to me like they cut corners and it will eventually do them in. The staff was nice and the burger tasted good, but youre not going to win over customers in its current format.

This place socks. 6.95 for that little burger they should have kept village burger this place stinks. Also their fries are terrible just go somewhere else in town dont waste 15 dollars at this place.
