so my sister and i are on the hunt for the best cupcake in our area we are in blairstown. hackettown stinks east straudburg is just gross and cake boss 5 hours waiting in line for some boxed cupcake it was so not worth it. we almost gave up then..... we had sweet spot omg so good we drive 40 minutes just to get 1/2 doz each if we get more we will eat them all. the red velvet and choc with vinilla ice is my fave my sister loves the oreo and the carrot. just thre perfect sweet ness and most cake pop the bottom off and eat like a sandwich so non gos to waist . we are so hooked that we make my dad pic them up on his way home from work. they should start frequent . flyer program. they are not open on mondays

These cupcakes are awesome! At first my favorite was the Red Velvet, with the chocolate with coffee icing as a close second. Recently I tried the yellow cake with strawberry icing (now my current favorite) and it is amazing! Last week I purchased 3 dozen mini cupcakes to bring to a party. I pre-ordered them so I was able to get a variety of flavors. There was so much party food, and so many desserts, I really didnt expect they would get much attention. They were the only dessert that anyone ate. The strawberry, red velvet and peanut butter were the first to go, but the rest went too. Everyone was raving about them. Exceptional !!!!!!

I would have stopped in here anyway but the Cupcake Wars sign really caught my eye (they won!). I always like to try more than one cupcake so buying the minis for this purpose was an fantastic option. I ordered red velvet, coconut, blueberry and chocolate of some kind (cant remember unfortunately). They were all delicious - probably one of the best red velvet cupcakes Ive had and the blueberry cupcake was a very close second! Perfect cake to icing ratio as well. Ha, who was I kidding with the to-go container.

Ive been to the Sweet Spot Bake Shoppe multiple times now. Every single time Im there I try a new cupcake and every time Im blown away. They are all perfect and delicious. My favorite is definitely the strawberry. When you bite into it the icing is like biting into a fresh strawberry on top of a perfectly fresh baked cupcake. So for those of you reading all the reviews dont listen to the few people who gave poor reviews because they are idiots and clearly do not know what a good cupcake is.

My sister recently got married at the Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange, and we served cupcakes from the Sweet Spot Bake Shoppe as a dessert. We werent sure if people would want additional treats after the large meal, but our guests DEVOURED the cupcakes and they were gone before we knew it! Everyone raved about the fun flavors, and several people from the wedding even visited the bakery the next day to bring some home with them. Two thumbs up!

Whenever I am in Chester I stop in for a few goodies for my family, and I always try something different. We are always delighted with them. For my Cinnamon Girl book launch party which I held in their party room (wonderful, btw), I served a fall-themed assortment of their mini-cupcakes, which were gobbled up. I am excited that they are making pies for Thanksgiving, and have pre-ordered an apple crumb pie.

I ordered a cake over the phone for a friends bridal shower. They were so friendly and helpful. I was nervous because they had a description from me but I didnt show them anything or physically pick anything out. The day of, I saw the cake and it was beautiful! It was exactly what I wanted and it was delicious as well. Im so thrilled and my friend was so happy with her cake too! I highly recommend.

I got a dozen cupcakes for a bbq. The red velvet cupcakes were VERY disappointing. The cream cheese icing was not good and I love cream cheese frosting. Although the cake part of the carrot cupcake was decent once again the icing was gross and did not taste fresh. On the other hand the chocolate with peanut butter frosting was pretty tasty but on the border of too sweet. Do not expect too much.

The only place I will buy my cakes from. I never liked cakes from bakeries they always looked nice but tasted not so good. Until I tried a cake from Sweet Spot Bake Shop. The cakes LOOK amazing and TASTE amazing! I buy my kids birthday cakes from them every year and recently placed order for a wedding cake. Everyone at the shoppe is so helpful and nice.

I brought two dozen mini cupcakes to a superbowl party and boy were they a hit. Sweet Spot Bake Shoppe decorated the cupcakes to match the color of the teams playing. To top them off they placed a small football shaped brownie on top! What a HIT with the kiddies (and Adults)! Fresh, tasteful, sweet and delicious! Keep it up SSBS!!!!

I am not a fan of anything store bought but these cupcakes are some of the very few exceptions. Fresh, delicious, creative & a staple at our holiday party every year. If you are used to store bought or prepacked you will be comparing apples to oranges. Try any other fresh-bakers cupcakes & these are a clear winner!

been to the sweet spot twice now and will surely be going back. their cream cheese icing is delicious especially on their red velvet cupcakes. they also have some cupcake flavors i have never seen anywhere else. i would highly recommend stopping by.

The cupcakes looked promising but were exceptionally dry and tasteless. The icing was way to sweet. No quality here. I heard the owner has no culinary training, I believe it !
