This place was great for a couple of reasons. First the food was spectacular and the service was great too. The pacing of when everything came out was great. What made this place the best is the cleverness of the seating. When my boyfriend and I go out to an expensive restaurant we do not want to be sitting by kids. I know this sounds awful but we have a two and a half year old and would like to have adult conversation every once in a while. Megu accommodated very nicely with having a portion of the restaurant sectioned off specifically for couples and having the main floor open to families. I was very impressed.

Hands down one of the best sushi restaurants in the area. Steve the chief / owner combines very good sauces, spicy mayonnaise, ginger, and others that just put the top grade, fresh fish out of the park. My favorite is the Tuna dumplin and Steves special sashimi roll, and more. Highly recommended- bring white wine. The grill is very good too, but I prefer the sashimi.

This is the best place in SJ we were able to find! We live not far from this place. Friday night is often our sushi excursion. We must have tried a dozen sushi places around us and kept coming back to Megu. Try Tuna dumplings or Tuna pizza for an appetizer. My favorite roll is Steven Sushimi. Hibachi is great too.

I am from New York and have been to many places all over Manhattan and Long Island. This is by far my favorite sushi place EVER. When I moved here 5 years ago this was the first place I went to and have been going once a week since. They have 30% off on Sunday and Monday. The Mini Me roll is a must

We went for their hibachi and not only do you get a good show and friendly staff, but you also get a lot of food all included in the meal. Every meal comes with soup AND salad, a few shrimp fried rice and lo mein, all on top of your meat choice(s). And the food tastes great too!

as someone who doesnt eat sushi, i enjoy this restaurant for the variety of other japanese dishes available. there are plenty of soups, appetizers and entrees to choose from while my dining companions have sushi. the sushi is fresh and presented very well.

Awesome! Hands down the best sushi in the County. Been coming here for a few years and never been disappointed. It's the freshest and tastiest sushi I've come across since moving to So. Jersey from NYC over 10 years ago...

Ordered 60 rolls to go.., every single one was falling apart. . The place is very pricy. Paid 100$, for the same order paid 70 in Sushi Kingdom! !!!!!!!!!!! Never going there again! !!!!!!!

Horrible service. Their door and website both said they open at 12:30 on Sunday. I arrived at 12:35 and waited until 12:50 and no hostess ever showed up for seating.
