I live with in walking distance. The subs are great. Unfortunately the owner is not so great. Every time I have ever been there he has been more interested in watching sports then making me feel welcome. Its a shame because the subs are great. I go to quick check because its a huge turn off to not get a "hey how are you" or "thanks for coming". Hospitality is a must and he doesnt have it. If it changed I would be a loyal customer. Thats why I go to Joes Meat Market in South Bound Brook. Joes cares and the subs are awesome even though its much further away.

Used to always go there, from back in the day (were talking from the 70s) when it was in the original building which stood on the same corner. Always great quality, delicious food! Every bite brings back memories of my youth. The meatball sub was my favorite as a kid, and still is a great sandwich. Homemade sauce and meatballs, you dont find that at many places anymore.

Pretty good subs over here! I passed this place many times until I tried it. The food is slightly more expensive than competitors but these sandwiches are huge and they taste proper. They have unique like homemade potato chip style French fries which are awesome. Id also say the bread here is exemplary.

Best tasting subs on the planet. The owners "attitude" is because he is a New Jersey guy, and we got along fine. Get a sub with everything and you wont be disappointed! The amount of coldcuts is tremendous and out of this world, it rivals and surpasses any New York City deli sub.

Great hoagies. 30+ year customer. The place was a little hut. They have a picture. In all that time they did not change a #5. Love it! 1/2 or a whole are the options. Total opposite of Subway where you have a million options - all bad.

The portions have decreased and as a result the hoagies are no longer the best in the area - so sad to see this happen.

They make great subs. Ask for the "grilled chicken your way" sub (I think they put steak sauce on it). Its delicious.
