BEWARE - IM CALLING HEALTH DEPT. I cannot believe this place is in business, I am disgusted by the way I was treated. I left this place almost in tears. I tried telling he waitress I didnt want lemon in my water, she deliberately walked away with an attitude. I found hair in my food and showed multiple waitresses, one of them looked at me with a disgusted look and said "get another plate." While I was eating there was literally an old lady hiking on her food. Her daughter was screaming for them to call 911. They just looked at her for a good 5 minutes, like a deer in headlights. Finally after 10 minutes they called for help. I was unsatisfied with the way I was treated and complained, so they decided to overcharge me by $25 ON PURPOSE , because apparently I cannot read or do math because Im black. The staff hovered together and started laughing at me(the place was crowded while this was happening.) I refused to pay due to the ill treatment so they called the cops on me. I spoke with the officers and one of them said that he lived here for 31 years and never ate here because so many people complain of hair in their food ( btw the reason Im along the health department is because 10 minutes after the incident with the old lady, who btw threw up all over the table and floor, they had another couple sitting in that same booth)

4 stars for the value. First things first, this is an AYCE Chinese buffet. I have never been blown away by a cheap buffet, and I dont know anyone that has. Dinner is under $20 a person (with a drink) and lunch is about $10. For that price, dont expect a gourmet experience. The food is greasy, salty, and filling. Shocked? Well I guess youve never been to a cheap Chinese buffet before. Dinner offers more seafood items, but I almost always go for lunch. The service is good.....they clear your plates and refill your drinks before they are empty. Tip: they switch to dinner at 3:30 so I wouldnt go between 2:30 and 4:30 because if youre paying for lunch, at around 2:30/3 they dont refill the lunch items that much because dinner is starting......if youre paying for dinner and you show up around 3:30/4 a lot of lunch items will still be out.

Worst place ever. Aside from when you want to take your food home, they open up your plastic container and peep in. Thats like annoying and shouldny do that considering also they ate robbing you. Example.. after 3:30 pm... its referred to as "dinner time".. and almost $20 dollars for a plate. I never experienced such a meal being almost $20 for a plate at 3:30 pm. Talk about taking advantage. Smh. Do not go here.. its a rip off. This International buffet is next to SLEEPYs in bergenfield.. and they take advantage of you.. its a rip off. Dont go here aftet 3:30 pm.. theyll charge you almost $20 a plate. Ridiculous. And they will look at your food and open up your container if u want to take something home. This is the only place that does that. Cheap mofos!

The food was good, not spectacular, but it was above what I expected. There were also enough people so that the food was relatively fresh, but not so many that we had to wait for seating. We took my grandma, parents, and brothers (18 and 7) and everyone liked it. The service was okay too, we got into a dispute about the number 9f drinks but the staff was friendly enough to solve the issue. Each person was 16.99 plus drinks- for that price I dont regret going. Overall I enjoyed the place.

Been going for years. Food is excellent and staff is very nice. Mom had a senior moment and forgot where we were sitting. The waitress brought her to our table. Above and beyond service. Crab legs great, frog legs yummy, wish they were available all the time instead of just weekends. Short ribs melt in your mouth. Sometimes too crowded, but that just speaks to the greatness of this place.

Excellent value for money, good range of food selections, and food quality way better than almost all Chinese takeouts. We visit at least once a month --- for the past 15 years! 1 or 2 reviews mentioned "cold food" which really surprises me, for all these years I have never ever saw cold food there. Shut down during one extended power outage in the area once, yes. cold food? never ever.

i thought this place would be sketchy and sort of gross b/c its in this nasty plaza in Bergenfield but it is actually very good! they have really good snow/king crab legs and delicious crab. its BYO so you can save even more. the great thing is that its usually pretty crowded so the food comes out often which makes it even more fresh. worth checking out.

The food is not good by any standard. I dont know why this place is still open. The service is poor as well, cant understand what the waiters are saying and the waiters cant understand what you want. Sushi was okay...Just dont waste your money or your time. There are better buffets out there.

Usually if I see a place that looks terrible on the outside, I figure I could be wrong. This place was gross. The food was discolored, as in golden yellow clams. The chicken and meat was way overcooked. The fruit even tasted bad. Best point is that I will never return.

It could use some improvement with deserts... You could tell that they were old/stale/bad. Overall nice place/staff and food. To the owners: if you can clean up the outside of the restaurant, it would make the place more appealing.

Great value for what you can eat. The building and whole shopping plaza is definitely at its aged side that does not give you good eating feeling, but the food is good enough, price is higher during weekend and night, as expected.

As far as Chinese buffets go this is my go to. I have been going here since I was a child. The food is pretty average but it is consistent and the price is right! Bring your family and fight for the crab legs they put out.

If you have just 10 $ in your pocket and want to have great meal , than you should visit this place . its worth what you paying for . The best thing i liked about this place is the fruit section i as they had fresh fruits

I been this buffet restaurant more than 10 years, no disappointed. Their classic Chinese food are really good. Their sushi section has tasty rolls , fresh sushi. Very reasonable price.

We went for lunch three times. Everything was very well seasoned, even the sweet and sour chicken was perfectly cooked. Their fish dishes are especially good.
