Visited on a Wednesday night during peak season. Food was average to below average. Fried oysters tasted like how low tide smells. Based on that I dare not touch anything at the "raw bar" section. The "stuffed crab legs" were blue crab cousin legs stuffed into a ball of questionable seafood stuffing. The "all you can eat" blue crabs were incredibly light, and had been clearly sitting out in the buffet for quite some time. Some of them had a funky taste to them in my opinion. Not the freshest in my opinion. Dessert options were very nice. Not worth the $30 per adult, as the only food that had a decent taste was the typical Chinese food options like fried rice, lo mein, chicken w/broccoli and etc. Do yourself a favor and just order takeout from a Chinese restaurant in the area. I visited here when they opened several years ago around their inaugural year and can honestly say this is a totally different experience. Corners have clearly been cut in the way of food quality.

Quality of overall buffet food was really, really quite good. Better than local competitor - Bonfire Restaurant, in O.C. Maryland. Tokyo Seafood Buffet had O.C. Maryland crabs, Alaskan King crab legs, steamed large clams, steamed mussels, Sushi, Frog Legs, Calamari, to name but a few of the main dishes I tried. The biggest difference my wife and I experienced was the saltiness was far LESS @ Tokyo Seafood Buffet than any other buffet restaurant at Ocean City, MD. We have eaten at a different restaurant every 4th of July weekend for the past 10 years. The server we had was the best. Always attentive, cleaned our plates and replaced our trash bucket the entire time. The buffet was constantly filled and for a busy Sunday, we never had to wait to be resupplyed with a specific food tray. Tokyo Seafood Buffet is now our new place to eat when we are looking for a buffet.

Majority of the food was bland and tasteless, even the miso and maryland crab soups were awful. The look of the food was there and the crabs were decent however the taste was seriously lacking and turned out to be largely an $84.00 bill for two with sodas and a $14.00 tip as it costs $30.00 per person for what is mostly a Chinese buffet and small crabs. If you want crabs, go buy them at Higgins or Bahama Mamas. This is not the place for all you can eat crabs if your thinking that. With $84.00 you can enjoy a beautiful and filling meal at a nice restaurant. That would be your best investment! Dont make the same mistake I did. Hope this helps others before they waste money.

Delicious variety for everyone if you are hungry. Busy buffet, stocked well. Sushi and sashimi was good and having blue crabs on the buffet was a bonus. Mongolian grill was great included with buffet to have steak,shrimp,chicken,noodles and veggies cooked to order. Crabs were a little small but full of meat and tasty. Snow crabs decent. Other food was good. Too many options for me to try everything. Service was what I would expect had a beer and soda refills when i asked. Plates were cleared before i returned from buffet. I go to eat, not be waited on..

Excellent selection! Tons of fresh fruit, full salad bar, fresh hot seafood, plenty of traditional Asian options such as lo mein, fried rice, dumplings, egg rolls. Good variety for everyone. My toddler loved the Mac and cheese and green beans. The desserts were delicious. A hibachi station and sushi bar are included as well! Definitely worth the money. The whole family was satisfied. The staff were friendly and on top of things. If you want to eat seafood in ocean city this is there place to go! It was clean and well maintained.

My whole faimly lives in OC. My daughter and I have been going there every year since they took over JRs. It was her 18th Birthday.. Yes they did come out and sing but my kid has been in bed w/ food poisoning! We are locals and we alsways wanted to go there. STAY AWAY! My daughters crabs were black inside. The shrimp and suise were bad. Nice way to spent her 18th bday and they wont even do anything and then I had to pay almost $90. I will be blacklisying them and the 1 start is not even close... try -10

THIS PLACE SUCKS DONT LET THE REVIEW FOOL YOU !!! WAITER WAS HORRIABLE HAD ASK FOR REFILLS AND CRAB CRACKES AND NAPKINS AND WAS 120.00 FOR 3 PEOPLE WHAT A RIP OFF STAY AWAY !!!!!!!!!! I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN TO STAY AWAY NO PRICES LISTED ANY WERE. MY WIFE HAD TO COMPLAIN TO THE MANAGERS AND WAS OFFERED NOTHING I HARDLY ATE ANY THING CRAB LEGS WERE SOGGY THE SHRIMP WERE OVER COOKED COULD NOT EVEN PEEL THEM SHELLS WERE STUCK TO THEM SO MANY THINGS WRONG TO LIST SO PLEASE LISTEN TO WHAT IM SAYING VERY UNHAPPY.

After reading the reviews between Tokyo and another seafood house we are happy we came here. The looks on the outside do no justice to the inside of this place. IT IS HUGE!!! Clean and tasteful decor. The buffet area has a variety of tables offering various dishes to even accommodate the picky eater. All delicious and fresh! Crab legs for days, Meaty ribs! Our server Lynn was awesome, great service! My Pina colada was perfect! We will definitely be coming back!

Stopped here wile on vacation great experience came back again before leaving to go home. Fast seating, all food was really fresh and cooked great. Defiantly would recommend this place to anyone who wants great all you can eat sea food for 28 bucks a person. Defiantly be coming down here again. Servers were very fast and on top of keeping drinks full and table clean. Great family environment.

The food was absolutely amazing. Very fresh and flavorful especially the seafood. Ocean city is known for seafood restaurants but this place is the best. They have everything I could ask for blue crab, snow crab legs, clams, oysters, shrimp, everything. They have so much variety that I couldnt even try everything. Definitely will be stopping in again and telling everyone I know about it!!

The food was delicious. We got there shortly after they opened, everything was hot and ready. There were plenty off choices for my husband and myself who like seafood and our children who dont really enjoy it! I never saw any empty try the entire time and we sat and ate for over an hour! I would most definitely go back here again! I think I need a nap now from all the crab legs I ate!

Great buffet with fresh good options, and great seafood. They keep on top of ensuring all food laid out is fresh and constantly change it. They keep less quantity and shallower pans in order to ensure the least amount of waste, and yet they never run out (for long!) Great crab legs, shrimp, raw oysters and clams, and other seafood, Nice sushi selection as well.
