05/18/16 I was on a little getaway for a few days and decided to stay at the Tropicana for the first time!! Weve always visited for just for the restaurants!! So we came across this Mexican spot and it was a little before 5pm so they offered happy hour, the waitress/supervised/manager ? Offered that we can sit at the bar or at the table. At first we stated well sit at a table because we thought the bar didnt have a section for the wheelchair. When we got to the table I realized that the wheelchair section was in fact empty so I said lets head to the bar which was 5steps away. As soon as we got to the bar the bartender did not greet us , he gave me a blank look and said "You can go back to the table, where the waitress will take your order" he said it in the most stern, nasty tone. I then told him that were okay with staying at the bar, then he proceeds to say " Well you shouldnt be sitting here because people is going to be coming back in fourth and youre going to be in the way" again with a nasty tone. I told him that the section we were at was to sit a wheelchair, and that I was not going to be "in the way" he then said well I dont think this section is for wheelchairs. Basically I told him that he is wrong and we left because he was so rude and arrogant towards us!! We went to speak to the w oman that greeted us and we explained to her what went down and she said "oh yeah thats how his attitude is" I was so shocked for her to say that and think that it was okay to speak and to treat a potential customer in that manner!!! They lost out big because I love margaritas and I am a great tipper for great service!! I wish I can give Zero stars!! For disgusting service!!

This was not what I expected. First, the pictures make the restaurant look much nicer than it actually is. It took longer for our waitress to welcome us, then it did for our food to come. We ordered table side guacamole as an appetizer, but our entrees arrived before they came to make it, so we canceled the order. Chicken quesadilla was all cheese and no chicken. Surf and turf tacos consisted of one shrimp and a few small pieces of steak on a soft taco with refried beans. While it tasted good, it was hard to eat and not what was expected. Homemade chips were great. Waitress was nice, but I would not rate service as very good. Would not go back and would not recommend for an authentic experience.

I had breakfast here and it was pretty good. Nothing exceptional, just good. The chocolate banana pancake sounded good but they put too much chocolate on and it wasnt spread out enough across the whole pancake. It was still a good pancake though. I have also had lunch here and I ordered the steak tacos and shrimp tacos. The shrimp ones had a great sauce and were by far the better tacos. Ill be ordering them again when I return. The steak ones were good but the steak was a bit dry. I also had some jalapeño poppers, which didnt sweep me away but I was happy we ordered them. No complaints about the service here. Theyve always been polite and competent.

The Worse Fish tacos i have ever had!!! SAVE YOUR PALATE AND YOUR WALLET DO NOT EAT HERE. Orderdered fish tacos for take out, The worse i have ever had. FISH WAS SUPER DRY and far from fresh., bland flavored sauces and the taco shells were Blue!!! EW IM NEVER SEEN BLUE TACOS AND IM NOT SURE IF THATS HOW THEY ARE EVEN SUPPOSED TO COME...they definitely did not sit well in my stomach..then make this dish even worse i found a grey Hair in my taco...So gross and totally Turned off from this Place!! WARNING SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BELLY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

My mother and I were extremely impressed with the service and the deliciousness of the food. The chips came out warm with three amazing sauces. We had the guacamole and calamari as appetizers and they were made to perfection especially the calamari which had pieces of corn and jalapeños. Seasoning was delicious. As meals I had the burrito which was filled with meat rice and more. My mother had the steak tacos. We also fell in love with the elotes (street corn) so much so that we ordered more. We are very happy customers. Thank you Chef and staff!

The waiter was excellent but we had several problems with our food and drinks. My Kettle and sprite did not taste like Kettle One. My wife who has celiac disease cant have gluten and dairy but the waiter said no problem twice. The food came out and it was burnt to a crisp. Returned it and the second time it was extremely fatty. Sent it back again. The waiter was good but the bartender and cook sucked. It was a disappointing experience.

So Ive walked past this place for a few years now and finally decided to give it a try and I must say it wasnt bad. I had the fish tacos and my wife had the quesadillas and I must say they were better than average. My only complaint If any is the service they dont seem to bee to attentive, when asked If wanted another drink I said yes but it never came. Other than that If I have a taste for Mexican again Ill definitely be back.

My husband and I had 2 GREAT dinners (no alcohol) *MUST TRY THE TACOS* and the food at breakfast was good.... UNTIL I GOT THE MIMOSA. Almost puked. Tasted like spoiled OJ and cheap vodka. Must have been why they slipped it on the table after the food showed up instead of when I ordered it (before food was ordered) then the server ran from the table. Would ONLY go to dinner there again if nothing else was open.

Very good food, the prices are reasonably and fast service. You wont be disappointed. Les plats sont très bons, les prix pas trop chers et le service rapide. Vous ne serez pas déçu.

Went with a group of friends the food was good. Always is. Moderate price. I dont like how they charge for everything extra you ask for. A second cup of coffee. Etc. Kinda lame. The service here sucks. The staff are always rude or bitchy. Im very polite and a generous tipper but Im not okay with being treated like om.bothering them. If the food wasnt so good I wouldnt come here!

Wow!!! We sat outside, we were seated right away. The people are nice and friendly. Very nice display on the tables, the food is very tasty and it came out on time "when they were busy" loved it. The only thing missing here is Queso other than that this is the perfect place to bring your girlfriend and family. I will definitely come back again when I visit Atlantic City.

This place serves up the best guacamole made right in front of you. They do not serve small portions, from steak to tacos to empanadas and everything in between it leaves you speechless, full and when you leave wondering when you can come back, best of all it doesnt hurt your pocket, get there and enjoy!
