We asked our valet at the Marriott of some nice outdoor bars and restaurants in the area and he recommended this bar. We frequented the bar the first day we were there in Atlantic City. The bartender asked us what we liked to have to drink and I asked for a White Russian. When he served it to me it was like it was layered with the Kahlua at the bottom the milk in the center and the Vodka floating on top. Now mind you I am a bartender myself and scratched my head when I saw the drink. When I asked him to come back to where I was sitting I asked him to please shake the drink and he gave me a dirty look and rolled his eyes as if he thought I was stupid. Will never frequent the wonderbar ever again due to the fact that it was just too much hard work for him to shake a drink like its supposed to be shaken to begin with

The food is average at best. The prices are on par with Manhattan, however, this is no city atmosphere. Its over a bridge, across the street from a gas station, across from a sleazy motel...you get the picture. $12 for a martini?!?! It had the possibility of being a great "hole in the wall" but the servers are RUDE, RUDE, RUDE. All of them! Ive been there twice and I would never return. They are not responsive and seem to have a "who cares" attitude. What a waste! Save your money and venture deeper into A.C. where you can really have a good bite, nice atmosphere, and good drinks.

I been going there the last 8 years on my waverunner so Monday July 3 I was there it took 20 minutes for a waitress to come over ordered drinks then a pizza 45 minutes later still no pizza I said I could of went to south philly and back with a pizza then she said it wil be out in 3 minutes but it took another 20 minutes I ask for a Manger guess what they didnt have one and the waitress didnt know what to do she said write a letter as we left it with her and my email address but a week later still no email a disgrace

Misleading. Ill never come back here. They have this board that gives you the times and prices for happy hour appetizers and there are 3 shifts but they dont specify that only one of the three shifts has the appetizers included. Mixed drinks are too expensive above all and bartenders are super stingy with the alcohol. Only the older guy at the end of the night knew how to make a proper long island.

I really liked the place. After reading the reviews I specifically asked the bartender his name. Surprise! Chris! I think there is some kind of witch hunt group out there who has a personal grudge against him and is getting there friends to write hatchet jobs. The Nachos were delicious. My server was very attentive and by the looks of the crowd they dont seem to be hurting for customers.

My husband called in for a pick up(6/25/17), and waited 20 mins before he arrived. Upon arrival he was told the kitchen was backed up, and he proceeded to wait another 20-30mins...My experience is normally, a good one here, but this was beyond ridiculous. About an hour for food!!! We called in 20 mins. prior to receive it 30 mins, later....Very disappointed customer!

Food was ok, music way too loud and...waitress was flustered and beyond slow with just 3 small tables. Over 20 min wait just to get sodas and over 35 minute wait for 4 appetizers. Have been there before outside in summer so thought it would be a great stop on a late Sunday afternoon to get a quick bite inside. Wont be back.

Excellent food and service. Mussels are to die for, the best! Chicken salad was wonderful, big chunks of white meat. I got the wrap but it is great as a salad also. Love being on the water. We take the boat and dockage is well maintained. Been going here about 7 years, never had a bad meal.

Today was my first time there. I like this place a lot and enjoyed lunch by the water. The prices are a little high for some items, but the quality of the food is very good. I ordered the crab bisque and a chicken cheesesteak wheat wrap. I would go there again.

Service was great until the bartender chris came in.If hes friends are there they can get away with anything they want even being disrespectful to you and your wife.If you dont like it they will tell you to leave because those are the regulars. .

Coming from the casinos late night and looking for an order of food to call in and pick up on the way. Go to Wonder bar and get the Turkey bacon avacado wrap.. they also refurbished the inside and made the bar bigger. Looks much nicer.

My first time at the Wonder Bar. The bar service was poor!!! You had to constantly beg to be served. The male bartender was unfriendly, and seemed like he didnt enjoy his job. But the band was great!!!

Wonder Bar is a great setting and good food. If Chris is the bartender - run the other way! He is rude, condescending and his customer service skills are NON-EXISTENT!!!!!!!!!!

Drinks are a little pricey but they have good food and a pretty cool atmosphere. Great in the summer, you get to sit outside on the deck and see a nice view of the bay

Outdoor bar is by the water and pleasant. The beer options are limited. Service is OK. Parking lot is small and when full valet is the option at $5.
