We go back a long way with this restaurant, to the days when it was the Homestead. Perhaps its time to quit with not one, but two bad dining experiences. In A Row. Briefly: Crab stuffed Haddock. Mmmm, with a perfect sweetness from the crab - right? Wrong! How does sour hit you? Yeah, sour. I have no clue how one can screw up the natural taste of seafood like this. Veal Oscar. There is ONLY one way to screw up such a young and tender meat. Overcook it. Yes, until DEAD. Two bad meals in a row. I couldnt believe it! Now, for those thinking, "Why didnt you send it back?" I have this to say. Dinner out is special to us and the ONLY thing worse than the food is waiting while your partner eats, then she waits while you eat. Oh boy, wasnt that fun? Or I guess I could cash in a refund and ask her to drive thru Mickey Ds drive up window. No thanks. br

Used to come her in the past, but hadnt been under the new name. Decide to try it for my good friends birthday celebration. Our server, Kelley, was very friendly, polite and attentive during the entire meal. I typically dont like seafood because Im so picky with its freshness, so to test a restaurant, I order seafood. I had the scallops which were extremely fresh and cooked to perfection. My friend had the baked haddock. I had to restrain her from licking the plate when she was done. Everything was excellent with the exception of the baked onion soup....I dont care for rosemary, which was heavily present. Overall, the service, meal, dessert, and drinks were excellent. Ill be back.

We have been trying to get the time to swing in and check it out and were glad we did . We stopped in for appetizers and toured the entire resteraunt. This place is intersting and I mean that in a great way ,tons of history inside , great second floor bar area that roams from room to room with a balcony seating area . The restaurant below on tje forst floor also has a patio area for outside seating... we will be checking back for dinner in a week or two for sure...I would say its a great place to check out...

The food is wonderful and the service was excellent. Great place for an evening out with a special someone. We did sit on the front patio and it was enjoyable. But with having a major intersection only a short distance away makes for a bit of a noise factor. I know that the Coach Stop has no control over this. But having idiot drivers use the stop light as some kind of drag strip starting line makes for a less than perfect evening. I think next time we will be enjoying our dinner inside.

We recently held a shower here and were very pleased with everything & everyone we worked with. From the moment we arrived and throughout the event, our wait staff, Lisa & Kassie were there offering assistance when needed, suggestions, and doing what they do best. They were friendly, professional and made us feel at home. We had a brunch and the food was delicious, plentiful and presented beautifully. I would highly recommend The Coach Stop. They are first class all the way!

.we recently visited for the first time and we enjoyed the atmosphere in the lounge area. We came in for a light dinner and drinks. We started with the chili nachos then we shared the caesar salad and cheese flatbread. Our food arrived hot and delish, the caesar was cold and crisp. We enjoyed our dinner and will be returning for a second go. Also our server was very polite and accommodating.

The Coach Stop is a fantastic example of small town fine dining. It is in a very homey building and feels like something you would expect from an even smaller town, while the food excels to that of a bigger city. They rotate much of their menu depending on the season and they have a nice bar section upstairs.

Weve been regulars here going back to when it was the Homestead and even before that. With very rare exceptions, our dinners have been excellent. Wait staff is attentive. Good variety in the menu. Good value with most entrees in the $15 - $25 range. Expanded pub upstairs seems to be very successful.

My husband and I had a lovely dinner here last night. We have found our perfect place! Our server was an absolute delight. The food was cooked to perfection and the dessert is to die for. The whole southern atmosphere is so refreshing. We are making this place our regular for sure.

recently went there ordered baked seafood was very disappointed with it the lobster in it was canned lobster meat. Flavor was can tasting and you can tell by the way it was in the plate and by the smell.. if it was real lobster meat it may have been better. . service was great

Good food but a pit pricey. Also seems to confuse pastas (both types and gluten free ones) from time to time. Also the chicken seems kind of rubbery and different tasting. I love the drinks though and the outside bar+patio, so I keep coming back.

I was here for a funeral reception that had Buffet service. The desserts were all store bought and the entree items besides the scallops wrapped in bacon were all kind of blase.

Love the overall experience. The food is excellent as well as the service. I enjoy relaxing in the Tavern with appetizers and drinks as much as dinner downstairs.

Food is great here. Need a reservation though. It can get really crowded. Even the bar area gets overcrowded. But when its this good, you can overlook it.

Outside seating is enjoyable if the weather is nice. Tables on deck and patios have umbrellas to provide some shade.
