We used to love this place, but went here on November 22, 2014 after not having been here for a year. I couldnt believe the (negative) difference. The service was beyond slow, and one group of four left after having been seated because no one came around to take their order. The sushi chef was waiting tables for some reason, and seemed to be entirely out of place. He served my father-in-law hot tea in a tall Pepsi glass, which had us in stitches for the rest fo the visit. Then, when my finnicky 4-year old daughter took a liking to the dry noodles, and we asked the man who appeared to be in charge, for some additional dry noodles in a bowl, he shot us the death stare, like how dare we ask him such a thing. Lastly, the food was nowhere near as good as I remember it being. What is going on here????

I used to come here about 8 years ago. The atmosphere was fun. Eclectic asian decorations covered the walls. Tacky lights were strung up, but in a good way. The owners were super nice, they used to bring me tea and water as I sat down because they knew me. I went recently and the place could be best described as drab. The food didnt taste as good. The owner was short and mostly watched tv or played bejeweled on his phone. I actually think hes a good guy but I dont think they are into it anymore. I think their remodel and lack of attitude put me in a bad place to begin with. The food was just bad chinese food. No love whatsoever. It was quick and cheap, which I suppose has its merit in itself. But also pretty easy to find in the area. The things that set apart jay house for me are gone.

Visited mid afternoon labor day. Place was quiet. I went to their old location years ago, and it was fun, with good food. Now, the place is so dark it is hard to read the menu. We shared egg rolls, which where ok, a bit soggy. Then shared the chicken with cashews. It was fairly tastless, with vegetables being uncooked and hard. Not good food, seemed to have a reaction, MSG? Wont return.

Got Philadelphia rolls to go once. They were excellent rolls, among the best sushi Ive had when eating out. I would definitely recommend this place if you want Sushi. I cant say anything about any other food there since thats all I got. Will try other stuff there soon.

Food was prepared quickly. Staff interactions were polite and efficient. Food was nothing spectacular, but was made from fresh ingredients. They have both a Chinese menu and a Japanese menu. Prices were average for the area.

Good food for this area. Typical aisan place, you know the type ware there mad to take ur order and talk trash out back. Wicked good food. Service is slow but its a nice clean spot with a bar!!

I love every thing about this restaurant! The smells, the atmosphere, and the food! My favorite sushi dish is the Londonderry roll! If you like sushi I really recommend this place!

Ordered takeout and the poor was very poor in quality - tasted like mall Chinese food. The food was also cold when it was picked up. Wouldnt order from here again.

An average place food wise if you enjoy traditional asian cuisine. The sushi on the other hand is quite good. Everyones always been nice in my experience.
