Bartender is an entitled @sshole (forgot to tip, was about to but he stormed back inside) he said "What? You dont tip?". The food is very overpriced ($10 for 4 pieces of karaage?!) and the selection of Japanese liquor is small Anyone giving this place 5 stars and praising it like its a godsend have never been to another Japanese izakaya

The food was amazing. Just stunningly good. The music is loud, but if you can stand it, it is totally worth it. We ended up trying 9 different things and had a blast. The flavors are superbly blended. I would recommend the battleship Curry and the new York strip. The yakitori was perfectly flavored and the fried rice tots were a lot of fun.

This is like the "Kill Bill" of the hipster small business takeover of Midtown Reno! The atmosphere is neat and the food is different from the typical Japanese sushi bar which is common in Reno. We had a great time and ordered things outside of our comfort zone and all were delicious!

We loved this place! We sat at the bar and could see all the awesome food that came out. The bartender was friendly and the staff is great. Every plate we had was amazing . The Hamachi was my favorite. I recommend going with a group to try more dishes.
