To be fair, the coffee is very good. But for a two-shot, TWELVE-OUNCE (medium here, small everywhere else) latte, I paid $6.50. That, to me, is a lot to pay for coffee. I travel quite a bit and wherever I go, I Google independent coffee shops and based on reviews chose where Ill go. Even in California, the coffee was nowhere near that expensive. The description of this establishment has ONE dollar sign. THAT is deceptive. Two small lattes (one with an extra shot) for $12.50 = not so great rating! Hopefully those reading this will understand that the rating is not for the quality or taste of the coffee but for the prices. Ridiculous. So if you just care about quality and are willing to pay whatever, this is a place for you! Otherwise, BEWARE!

Stopped by for a way too late lunch and some tea. The folks in front of me seemed to have issue because they wanted things the baristas just werent willing to make. I ordered straight off the menu though and had no issues at all. The Backpacker sandwich was tasty, whatever the sauce was Id go back just for that, and the berry tea I had was pretty tasty. But its the vibe of the place that makes it. Just weird enough to make me forget that I was in the suburban part of Las Vegas (which is pretty much nothing but strip malls and condos/housing neighborhoods). A guy playing the guitar just inside the front door kept it light and the spacing between the tables kept it cozy. This is definitely the type of place Id visit again.

Awesome coffee, chill vibe, great place! But be sure to ask for a copy of the transaction! I had a 5 star review here but my last couple visits have been terrible. Most recently, the new black girl working here overcharged me. I just look at my credit card charges and it says $7.50. I ordered a black coffee and a piece of terribly bland pumpkin bread that had obviously been sitting in there far too long. Secondly, she shorted me both times on coffee and I even asked if she could fill it above 2/3 and she rudely retorted, "you want me to fill it all the way to the top?" Actually yes I do thanks.

PROS: Great location and atmosphere - love the library upstairs. Pretty latte art and large tea bags for a nice strong cup. They also have lots of work area with accessible outlets, which is nice. CONS: Coffee was good, not exceptional and the barista on a couple visits was impatient. Can be extremely loud and busy, but depends on time of day. Definitely pricey. (The coffee at the Cafe in higher-end Tivoli Village is much more reasonable.) Overall: Ive had different experiences here, but its worth a shot if youre willing to spend a bit more for a cup.

Writing this while inside, just finishing my Chai Latte at 2:15 PM on a Saturday. + Vibe: The place is cool, with a chill atmosphere. + Staff: Friendly, prompt, and engaged. - Price: $5 + tax for a tall Chai Latte? Ouch. - Heat: No air conditioning inside. - Drink: The latte was lukewarm, consisted mostly of foam, and the Chai-spice taste was nearly gone, overpowered by the taste of milk. - Music Volume: The blaring tunes kill the chill. Conclusion: An OK pit-stop with wifi, but would not suggest to myself to come again.

I want to love this place. The food is tasty, service fast and coffee drinks are delicious with a variety of flavors and types to tempt anyone. But the price points are way too high and its unclear why. I went in search of a local business that could be a mobile office. The pricing here is not congruent with being a regular. It would become cost prohibitive very quickly. However, its a great place once in awhile and I have enjoyed every veggie quiche and latte I have ever ordered.

Coffee here is superb! They have everything from light to very dark roasts... theres something for every palette. Teas are also amazing and the pastries are to die for. The service and expertise are unmatched. The place is beautiful, has free wifi and is a great place to study/work or just relax. They have several bookshelves with plenty of reading material. Overall, kudos to the Sambalatte staff! Youve thought of everything. Keep up the good work.

The best place in town....GREAT coffee, atmosphere, and location. A must try....you wont be disappointed. And make sure to ask about, and try their fresh brew coffee which is dripped through a complex process into a glass container and served warm or cold. Ive tried it once and it is absolutely fantastic with an unbelievably with complex, fantastic flavor! And I believe it changes daily so youre always in for an amazingly pleasant surprise...

I used to love this place. Originally the baristas were all knowledgable about the espresso they were serving. The temp. Amount of water grind etc. the overall service was great as well. Now you have to wait forever to get your order. The espresso is s far cry from what made me go back there. Louis please come back to your store and make it the great place it once was!

Great coffee. I have been a long term customer. Their prices seem to be going up while the sizes seem to be getting smaller. However, you do pay for everything else that comes with the coffee, i.e. the people, the ambience, the location, the leaf that floats on your latte, etc. My go to place when I need a coffee shop to sit and work, or bring a friend to have a chat.

Having had several great experiences at Samballatte and introducing many friends to it, I was disappointed with the service on my latest visit. Had a pot of tea and sitting outside with a friend. I asked if I could please have the pot topped up with hot water. I was told very simply, "We dont do that." Okay, Ive been told. I will also warn others.

This is a very trendy coffee shop. They offer live music (not all the time) and lots of space to work. They have inside and outside seating- as well as a second floor (and i believe a library up there too). Drinks are delicious- and the atmosphere is very comfortable. Located in a great spot in Boca Park- lots of good shopping just steps away!

Sometimes I take a business meeting here. I no longer purchase anything, the coffee is mediocre, the service rude, and the food is overpriced and undistinguished. The owner makes $1millon a year, so if he is your favorite charity, go for it. Hit-or-miss as a place to meet, often crowded and noisy. Good location for many though.

Sambalatte is a great coffee shop for sitting down with friends and soaking up the vibes. I cant have gluten or dairy and they always have options for me. For people who prefer tea over coffee they have a lot of choices available and a great little self serve sweetener area. The customer service here is friendly and fast.

Great "boutique-ish" like coffee shop. Delicious coffee creations, if youre looking for something fancy. They get snacks and small meals, but I didnt see anything gluten free available. This is a great spot to study, meet friends, or conduct one on one business meetings. Lots of outlets at the big tables.

Always a great spot to come and study and enjoy their menu options. The addition of the seats against the wall were a SuPERB improvement, plus they have power outlets at the base for convenience. Very Euro style spot. Recommended hot spot for relaxing, business, school, or whatever!
