The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, simply put, is the best coffee chain. As someone who likes to drink their coffee black at times, Starbucks has nothing on Coffee Bean. This location also happens to be one of my favorite locations in the city. The interior isnt as large as some of their other locations, but the customer service at this one is top-notch which makes up for the lack of space. Let it be if you were to walk inside or order via the drive-thru, everyone here is polite, friendly and fast. Oh yeah, and as previously mentioned in an earlier review, theres also a nice exterior area outside including a fire pit on those days you just want to sit outside in the cold. [Why youd want to do that, I have no idea; but whatever.] For the fact theres no Starbucks in the area outside of those in supermarkets, it makes all the more reason to hit up this specific Coffee Bean location.

While on vacation my barista significant other and I traveled around the west coast and trying smaller, preferably local, coffee shops we were having some bad luck. My brother told us to try The Coffee Bean where we met an enthusiastic Chris Spanga who was taking some time away from the Coffee Bean food truck to fill in and help the establishment for the day. Not only was he patient he was very knowledgable about the coffee and teas which turned into us purchasing a couple of pounds of their house favorites. After Las Vegas we still had 8 more days of vacation in small towns in Nevada and Montana and Reno and San Francisco but we did not encounter another coffee shop with the same quality or comfort level.

Quick enough. Despite being given very complicated directions on how to make a particularly difficult drink, theyve never messed up an order over the course of five years. Pretty impressive. Also very nice workers, even before Google reviews became a thing, which means theyve cared about customers before many others did. I tip better here than any coffee place in town, as a result.

I love this place. I love Niel & his crew! Their Matcha Green Tea Latte is the best! Every time I get it, it brings me back to my childhood memories of wholesome goodness :) Also, if you have a flu like symptoms, ask for the magical Medicine Tea and thank them later :)

Nice environment the waitress was sure to emphasize they were closed in the middle of our convo. We left in under a minute hope she got to where she was so in a hurry to go. Overall nice quiet atmosphere similar to starbucks.

I started going here for the hazelnut ice blended drink (comparable to the hazelnut frappacino from Starbucks) and I have not been back to Starbucks since! They also have doggie treats which I was surprised to find out!
