Well, my first experience at this restaurant I rated a 5 star. Unfortunately today Im rating it at a 3 star. Let me explain. The first time I came here there was great service and my mom loved the burger she got. She loved it so much that she wanted to go again. So I decided to surprise her for Mothers Day today and take her. At first we got seated fairly quickly and our server seemed very polite. We ordered our appetizers and our food at the same time. The only thing the server and I forgot was the drinks. No biggie right? The appetizers came, no problem. So I politely asked one of the bussers who was nearby to take our drinks. I know hes not supposed to, so he made a disagreeable facial expression, but took our drinks anyway. Which I thought was pretty cool and I apologized to him. I thought he would just pass on the order to the server and everything would be fine. 10 minutes passed, no drinks came. I then asked the server if the busser gave her the order of drinks he got from us. She said no, but shell check on it. 10 more minutes passed, no drinks. By this time we where almost done with our burgers. At this point my mother lost her patience and asked for our drinks very loudly while the same server and busser were together two tables away from us. They finally communicated with one another about our drinks and we find out that they dont have one of the drinks that my sister ordered. At this point Im thinking to myself did the busser forget? Or did he just not care? Needless to say after that he refused to make eye contact with me or apologize. We waited again about five minutes and finally got our drinks. Five more minutes past we were done with our food and we had only drank half of our drinks. The server comes by with a complementary fruit tart for my mother. My mother is thankful, but she is still unimpressed by now, and now the server made a disagreeable facial expression. This is not the type of service, or experience I wanted my Mother to have this Mothers Day. All I have to say now is their team work sucked today. Smh... I feel like I owe my mom a better experience. Good food though. Shout out to the chefs!! Great job!!

This review is for the terrible service at Bachi Burger even though we were there for the ramen. I am not sure if they are considered different business but they have the same wait staff serving you no matter which you eat. This used to be one of the BEST ramen houses in town. It was awesome. Now it is inside of Bachi Burger which lost atmosphere for me, when it was its own place it was very zen and relaxing. But I kept going because the food was SO good and it was close to home. Then on my last visit a few months ago they changed a few ingredients, added and removed, but the waitress didnt say anything like the menu may have changed. I made a comment to the waitress that they didnt have corn in it before and she told me it always had corn. I asked for a bowl to scoop it out, and made a comment when she left that it never had corn before and I would know since I had been eating the same ramen for years. When she came back she was so rude and was telling me how I was wrong and it said on the menu it had corn and I should have paid attention. When I tried making a suggestion that maybe they should just let customers know the menu may have changed like other restaurants do, she told me about how she had been there a whole 3 months and the menu changed once and month and how the ramen had always had corn. We ate our food and she continued to stand around and listen to my conversation with my fiance about how we would never come back and came back over to ask if I would kindly not write a bad review on yelp. I left and tried to think nothing of it. But here I am months later because it was such a bad experience. I have never dealt with a ruder waiter ever. Even if the customer isnt always right, you do not argue, and come BACK to KEEP arguing. Who does that!? And it isnt the food is bad, but because of that experience and being talked down to I will likely never step foot in here again. There is better ramen in town. If you want good ramen, go to China town. Try Ramen Sora, because ramen in the city if not the country. Jinya is good, Monta is well praised. Go support a small local ramen shop, not this place.

I am going to go against the grain here and say I hated Bachi Burger and it is definitely not for me. There was a positive word-of-mouth going around about this place so I was exicted to try this restaurant. After arriving my perceptions quickly fell short of my expectations. In business this is known as the "customer gap." It was busy at 7pm, which is a good thing, and something that should be expected from a decent establishment but with that said service was not prompt or efficient. The menu is highly Asian inspired which is their differentation. My girlfriend and I ordered two burgers, one order of parmesean truffle fries and a drink each. Our food was served without having to wait too long with the fries being presented first. First thing first, the fries were cold. The flavor and taste of these culinary fries was unimpressive and bland at best. Next came our burgers and with the first bite in I was regretting my visit. The burger was not very warm either and there was nothing about the flavor and taste that appealed to me. I took three and half more bites and I was officially finished. My girlfriend liked her angus and veal burger better than I liked mine but she still left part of it unfinished. At this point our server came over and removed our plates and asked if we cared for anything else and of course, we said no. I was very happy to leave. I was still hungry but the flavor and taste ruined my appetite. The food left both of us with upset stomachs for the remainder of the night. Overall, Bachi Burger is not for me and I will say this place is JUST WRONG. The service was friendly but lacking in all other areas. If you want a tasty, classy hamburger try the one on the menu at Wolfgang Pucks at the Spring Reserve; one of the best kept secrets in town. In the end, I should have known better than to try Bachi Burger. It is my experience that any restaurant built around the concpet of "gourmet" is usually just overpriced, overrated, pretentious dining. Call me unrefined or what you will but I will not be back to Bachi Burger.

I had been raving about this place to my hubby for the past month and finally got him here earlier this week. I did have to take them down from a 5/5 to a 4/5 due to a repeat burger being less impressive and so-so service. Last time I came my party ordered the oxtail chili fries, but it was too spicy for my tastes. So this time we went with the truffle fries. They were awesome fries, but I cant say they screamed truffle. Next time I would either get those sweet potato fries again or try the salt and pepper fries. Hubby and I both ordered one of burger specials - he got the lamb burger Id absolutely raved about and I tried a burger thats served on a bed of risotto. Unfortunately, that lamb burger just didnt hit the second time. My hubby flat out hated it. I thought that was strange because of how much I enjoyed it on my first visit. I took a bite - while it wasnt as awful as he led me to believe, I had to agree that it just wasnt doing it for me. The red sauce on top is pretty darn sweet - overly sweet, which is not his thing. I usually enjoy sweet on my burger, but I like for something like a sharp cheese to help balance it. When we finally managed to wave down our waiter, we expressed our disappointment and asked if we could swap out our burger (which only had two small bites taken out of the huge patty) for another (more expensive) burger. But our waiter informed us that wasnt an option - all he could do was charge us for a new burger. Hmmm.... Thank goodness the burger I ordered was not only awesome, but huge enough to share. As I mentioned before, this burger sat on top of a bed of risotto. It was then topped with fried onions, siracha bacon jam and two fried eggs. The risotto was cooked perfectly and had a simple parmesan flavor. The fried onion rings were skinny cut and crunchy - just the way I like them. And the bacon jam was chunky and delicious! I definitely want to go back to this place and try to confirm the 5/5 rating that I originally gave it.
