I havent been here since the cafe was bought by new owners. The staff who work here really made the experience good. Our waitress made sure my wife didnt have the sun in her eyes, was very polite and had a great sense of humor. I ordered a breakfast burrito that contained eggs, sausage, hash browns, and cheese. The hash browns were crunchy and the burrito was even grilled on the bottom. It was a fantastic breakfast. My wife ordered sour dough pancakes with a side of eggs and Raindeer sausage. I was lucky enough to try some of her food. Was very good. I hope these guys stick around because they are freaking delicious!

The food was amazing! I was raised Deep South and found this place when visiting Helena on business. The country fried steak was battered and fried when I ordered it. For breakfast, Frank the cook, shreds a potato on the grill when you order hash browns, skins and all. Ive never written a review online before, but I figured it worth my time. Theyre apparently under new ownership and could certainly use the good word-of-mouth, so here it is. Whether you live in Helena or youre just passing through, youd be remiss to pass up this place.

This place offers all the staples of a small town cafe. The only problem is that its just not that great. I like the idea of the place, but I usually leave somewhat disappointed with the food quality. Service is what youd expect. One more thing, I dont know what type of ketchup they use, but it sure leaves something to be desired. Im always stuck eating my fries plain because the ketchup is just terrible.

All I can say is they have new owners................and yes the food was excellent! Home made soup! Homemade hash browns! Dont forget how wonderful the service was..............even with my 2 kiddoz! I will return!!! :-)
