This place is horrible! First thing that I noticed right off is that it was dirty, stuff all over the floor, spills and splatters on the benches and blinds just stuff that was never cleaned off. So we choose to press on and we place a drink order , both arrived wrong then we placed a dinner order because everyone can make a mistake and we wanted to continue our date in hopes this would get better. Food arrived but took 25 minutes to get to our table and It was not even good. Bathrooms are gross too, leaky water dirty toilet and sink. Overall bad experience at this place. Very disappointing :(

Horrible service! Place was busy and I take that into consideration but to wait at my table of 2 for 35 minutes with no service is unacceptable! Had empty drinks, empty chips and salsa, and never did order. I decided to leave after dozens of trips past my table by my server as well as many other employees with no offer to refill drink, etc. I went to counter and told them I needed to pay for my drinks and salsa after telling them my experience AND THEY ACTUALLY CHARGED ME! There are many other Mexican joints to choose from as this will never be on my list again!

This is a great place to go for a relaxed dining experience with a friend or even a small group. You can enjoy their margaritas during happy hour while nibbling on a chicken quesadilla, or order a full meal for everyone in the family. This is more of a conversation place to me as the food quality itself isnt above par. One of my favorite places to go to catch up with old friends.

I love to eat here, but the salsa isnt always refrigerated and I like mine cold. I really wish this place had Wifi because I would come here more often. The lady wait staff all speak good English and its easy for me to order, but the male wait staff act like they understand what Im saying and then never get the order right. Still, I keep coming back.

Husband and I got food to go and both ended up very ill with food poisoning that evening into the next day. This was the only meal we consumed that day so it wasnt possible for it to be caused by something else. Needless to say, we will not be returning.

This place claims to have authentic Mexican food, but dont be fooled most all menu entries are made of low quality ground beef. Taco and burritos are supposed to made of chopped steak with corn tortillas. IMO this place/chain is a glorified taco bell.

We have been to several El Maguery, this one just didnt measure up. The service was good and very friendly. The food just didnt come close to satisfying this Southern California Gal. Wont go back

I go to El maguey in lake saint Louis all the time and its always great, however this location the food was terrible and the server was worse. Save your money and dont go to this location!!

Disgusting staff had blatantly sexually harassed my girlfriend in the past, and in front of me recently. Drive 5 more minutes and go to the one in Lake Saint Louis. Avoid this one.
