This is that truly special hole-in-the-wall kind of Chinese place. Panda might not do anything new or surprising, but what it does do, it does exceedingly well. I fell very quickly and seriously in love. The service was quick, friendly, and charming. (You order up at the counter and then go sit down and wait.) The attention to detail in the food is conspicuous if youre a lifelong Chinese food fan like me. The sauce on the lo mein is perfect, that secret-family-recipe kind of good, the best Ive had in St. Louis. Seriously. Crab rangoon actually contains crab meat, which is always a good sign, though I must admit, Chinese Noodle Cafe on Delmar still has the best crab rangoon in town (sorry Panda). Sesame chicken was scrumptious, the sauce savory and sweet without being too much, and the meat was cut up into just-right sized bites (no awkwardly huge chunks). Broccoli was cooked to a perfect al dente (again, not super exciting, but something too many places get wrong). We ate in and the portions were hugely generous, close to twice what you would get via take-out. If you can, eat in. After stuffing ourselves, our leftovers just barely fit inside their *assigned* containers. We professed our newfound love to the owners, promised to return, and left happy.

Okay folks, this is Americanized, Chinese food at its best, no frills, nothing fancy but the portions are generous and the food we ate was deelish! If you want authentic, you will need to go elsewhere. We had Sesame Beef (B) General Tsos Chicken (B) Pork Egg Food Young (A++, the best Ive ever had here in Mo.) Pork Lo Mein (B) Shrimp Toast (C) because although it was tasty, it was over cooked) and Pork Fried Rice (B). The lady at the register was genuinely friendly and helpful and the cooks all are authentic Chinese, wok masters. We were staying at the Hyatt and we brought it back with us...all in all, a good experience, we will eat there when we get back up to St. Louis.

We go here about 2 or 3 times a month and every time the food is great, just love the guy who runs it and they are always very generous with their portions. No matter how big my order is, it is ready for me in 10 minutes - who could ask for more!! Kudos to Panda - just love the place Not sure why Alex posted it was terrible - he must not have a clue on what good Chinese food should taste like - try some fast food place Alex - as that must be where your taste buds look for in food - Obviously not a great place like Panda!!!!!

Was passing through town from Kansas to Michigan and google maps sent us here. We were not disappointed! Crab rangoons were great, rest of food was fresh and the portion sizes are very generous. If I lived in St. Louis Id eat here every month. Only negative is this isnt a typical restaurant, they have a few booths but appear to specialize in carry outs. Which they had a lot of, on a Sunday even! Lady up front was very nice and gave great recommendations!

The Spicy Mai Fun with chicken and crab rangoon is so delicious here and most orders take about 10 minutes. The cashier (which is the owner I think?) will always say "10 mintues" for every order. Anyway they are a bit stingy with the condiments esp. sweet and sour sauce, but I suppose there are those of us that abuse that. The food is what you come to expect from a Chinese restaurant: large portions, high sodium, and quick.

The food is good. Not greasy. Decent portions. The wait time is pretty standard at 10 min but you can always call ahead. No online menu other than what is posted in Google. Go inside the store to get specialty items that arent listed on the menu. They offer services with a smile. I dont eat at many Chinese Restaurants but this one makes the list.

This is by far the best Chinese restaurant in STL. The staff is amazing, very kind, and always in a great mood. I am a bit of a snob when it comes to Chinese food, and these guys have yet to let me down. Please tell all your coworkers about this amazing hole in the wall.

Great food . I have lived in Overland for over a year and I have never had the food here until a month ago. I must say Im so glad I did its the best around Overland. The combination plates are huge . I can eat dinner and have lunch the next day. Best beef broccoli around .

The rice was ok not good as city rice and not very good cleaning practices. Way more expensive than other rice houses. Also the cashier was rude about giving sweet & sour sauce out I had to ask twice till the delivery driver gave me $.25 worth.

I have no idea what you are talking about Haley Worner. Panda is probably the best Chinese Restaurant in St. Louis. I think it is you that is lying in your review not the others. Keep on trolling though lady.

Absolutely terrible food! I tried it a couple of times in case I went on a bad day or something but it was still horrible. I would recommend eating the soles of your shoes before eating here.

Spend 20$ in food and all went to the trash because the food was really disgusting! Dumplings over cooked, the chicken dont have flavor, and the rice was from the day before!!
