Well, my girlfriend is a server there and she has plenty of experience working in a restaurant setting. She understands that people who have worked at a certain place for a long time get certain privileges (like getting off work early for a good reason or getting the best tables to serve) but the favoritism at this Perkins is beyond belief. Certain employees that work there get to stand around and do nothing while my girlfriend gets seated customer after customer after customer. The NEW manager just lets it happen and responds with calling my girlfriend names! I had to see it and hear it to believe it. I went in and just sat on the bench and listened... I watched as "veteran servers" kept seating my girlfriend. They kept their tables dirty just so they could stand in the back and talk to each other. The manager would be asked a question by an employee but he would just direct them to the assistant manager. What kind of boss (in a minimum wage restaurant) does that? and yes, I heard him even call my girlfriend a name. (so she doesnt lose her job Im going to keep this as confidential as possible) I hear stories everyday that my girlfriend gets talked on behind her back by servers... real professional ladies.. The fact that all of the employees at this specific Perkins does this, is WRONG. We have 3 kids and I have a job as well.. I understand that SOMETIMES a person who works at a restaurant doesnt always get off "on time" but EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. she gets off late which makes me late to my job. We cant afford to live with only one of us working, so we have no choice but to rely on this opportunity. But we have had enough. I will contact the vice president if I have too and get this figured out. Dont eat here! seriously... It only fuels the fire and makes these narcissistic servers more power hungry. DONT EAT HERE!!! 03/24/2015

This place needs serious help. I came here with my husband and his sister after a late night game because it was the closest place that was still open and we were SO hungry. It wasnt busy but it wasnt empty, either. There seemed to be only 2 servers, both of which had their LONG HAIR DOWN. Gross. That was sign number one it was going to be bad. All of the food we ordered was cooked terribly. I hated the taste of my pancakes, and the texture was dry and hard. I couldnt even eat my eggs because the taste of whatever had been cooked in the pan before them was infused into them. Dont be lazy - please wash the dishes! Some of the food was burnt, some was cold. How on earth food can be cooked this bad in a restaurant is beyond me. I barely ate two bites of my meal, and my husband said his was not good either, but he was so hungry he just sucked it up and ate. The service was rude. These people dont appear to care at all about their jobs. If this Perkins wants to stay in business, it needs much better management, tighter enforcement of health department rules, and to hire good servers. I dont even want to think about all of the health code violations that go on in the kitchen based on the quality of everything else. We will never come back here.

I read the reviews before I went into perkins, so I was a little apprehensive, I should have believed the reviews. The waitress came to the table with a full cup of coffee, when I drank it and got to the bottom of the cup, there was two lemon seeds stuck to the bottom of the cup, the coffee had not dissolved the lemon juice, they were glued solid, then my eggs came, over easy, I cut open the eggs, they were still raw on the inside, and then my pancakes were burnt on one side of each of the three pancakes. I told my waitress about the problems that I was having with my breakfast, and she just laughed in my face. I will never go back. I value my health, after what came to my table you never know what else is going on in the kitchen, SO BE WARNED.

My wife and I went to this Perkins on a Tuesday night for dinner. After we were seated I started feeling something crawling on my legs, I kept scratching and swatting all dinner long. I thought it was either fleas or nats. The food came out and my mac and cheese was still frozen in the middle. When I asked the server to take it back and to at least reheat it, the older manager lady kept giving us dirty looks. Our server was really nice and helpful, however the other servers were complaining about their tips and how slow they were. I remember when this restaurant used to be good thus it stayed busy. They need to understand that in order to keep up with all the restaurants in the area they have to step it up.

I like to eat here only because the food is actually really good. The service is terrible though. Every single time I come there it tales forever. Today, the server forgot to put our order in the computer. They comped our meal which is why I gave a tip, but we waited 45 minutes for our food to come out because the waitress actually forgot to put in our order. The time before we waited for an hour for the food. The time before that, there was lipstick on my husbands glass. Call me stupid, but their food is so good. I just wish one time I could go there and actually get good service.

We walked in on a Sunday morning for breakfast. There was no one there to take our name. The manager finally came over and was annoyed when I asked how long the wait was. We got seated at 11:14. The waitress brought our drinks and we ordered. 4 tables that were seated after us got their food and we were still waiting. I tried to ask the waitress but she wouldnt even come to the table. 45 minutes later our food came. Over cooked eggs, and everything was cold, as if it had been sitting in the kitchen forever. The total apathy of the staff was amazing.

It took quite a while for us to be seated and even longer for our order to be taken. We saw several groups leaving while we waited, complaining that theyd sat there for long waits without their orders being taken. Once our order was placed it took a significant amount of time to get our food, which was mostly cold when it got there. The waitress was polite and gave us a discount on our order. Im not sure where the problem originated because they seemed decently staffed and werent terribly busy, especially we with many groups leaving before ordering.

Where do we start! My mom asked for her sandwhich to be served on regular white bread... When our food came it wasnt on white so she asked to have them fix it. When she received the other sandwhich she asked for mayo, they gave her pancake batter! We know this wasnt by accident obviously... The only plus was our waitress was nice and they took it off at the end but I think they really need to look over there employees!

No silverware (all dirty?) MILs pancake was cooked on a dirty pan (you could smell the egg and dirty grease), took an extra 30 min to get a new pancake, had to ask for refills and refills never actually came, and wanted to buy brownies and they didnt even have enough. Just one thing after the other. They were very unorganized. The waitress was kind, just everyone seemed to have left their heads at home.
