Dont waste your time. The prices for the food are outrageous and the portions are tiny for the money. The wait time was ridiculous. There was only my table and one other that was ordering food and it still took forever. My vegan daughter ordered a veggie sandwich with no feta cheese. According to the waitress when she came out without the sandwich said he accidentally put the cheese on it and she would be out shortly with it. Apparently the cook thought it would be better to scrape off the cheese instead of making a fresh one. Which took almost ten more minutes. Then when the waitress finally brought it out...my daughter immediately tasted the feta cheese. By the time my daughter got her sandwich we were all done with our food! They did take the sandwich off our bill and yet it still cost over 90.00 for the four of us! I will never go back here again.

This was a decent Sunday brunch place for us. While we enjoyed the spaciousness of the bar, the multiple options for seating- from indoors to outdoor patios. Several tv screens placed around the restaurant allowed visibility of sporting events at various angles and the wait staff was friendly. The omelet station and waffle bar were great. We were disappointed with the limited selection of lunch type options on the buffet. The chicken presented was overcooked. Limited vegetarian options. No leaf salads. The fruit selection was bleak and was not replenished at all during our stay. They offer a kids price for buffet, but they do not offer a senior price. At $17.99 per person, we were hoping for a bit more selection from their buffet. Quite a selection of dessert items, but for actual meal items there offerings were minimal.

Ive been here many times and its hard to tell what kind of crowd you get. Ive definitely gone in (after paying cover) just to leave after my first drink because I feel like this is where your parents would go to hangout and its way too crowded(Sorry 50 and up crowd). With a large crowd comes lots of noise and waiting in line for the bathroom. Some nights its just right, where they dont stuff everyone in and you can have a decent conversation without screaming at one another. My favorite part is the rooftop when its uncovered on a nice day or night. Just your typical bar-like food nothing to rave about. Drinks are pretty typical. Ill definitely return but its usually not my first choice. If you didnt know already the owners of this place also own Lews and Charlie Hoopers, just so you know where your money is going.

Ive been to The Well around 10 times, as it used to be one of my favorite bars- not just in Waldo, but in Kansas City. It has great music on Friday/Saturday nights, and the upstairs patio is great. But the past two or three times Ive been there the waiting staff has been awful. Theyve told our group certain things were on special when they werent, and weve ended up having to pay more because of it. Wait times between when servers have come around have been worse and worse. We used to go for the happy hours, but the staff has been either completely misinformed about the specials, or not friendly- making it an overall poor experience. This used to be a favorite restaurant/bar, now I avoid it.

Great brunch spread!! Just beware of the horrible bar tender working being the bar. Dont ask her to replenish the bloody Mary mixers or the condiments. Bartender was very attitudinal. I got her attention, and she approached me with "What do you want". How about approaching the customer who is paying your salary with a little bit of courtesy and leave the eye rolling in the hallways of middle school. I simply was trying assist the bartender with informing her about replacing the mixers, because I saw she was in the weeds. No thanks at all, but more attitude with giving me two bottles of the Bloody Mary mix. I guess that was my prize for dealing with her attitude.

My family and I love to go to the well for Sunday Brunch. The food is always great and there is always something new to fall in love with. At times I have to be on oxygen an use a walker. The staff is always very kind and take time to get me close to the bar. One time I got sick and couldnt eat anything (not the well fault but I have problems with my stomach) like most all you can eat places they dont let you take home food) but in this case they let me take my plate home. The managers always come over and talks to use. I would recommend the well to anyone and especial to problem that have mobility or health problems. Hope to see you soon at the well.

I visited here for quick drink with my girls. Rooftop is really nice. It was little chilly when i visited but i think it would be perfect if it was little warmer. They have little fire in the middle of the table so it adds to the mood. We ordered couple of food for quick bite and drinks. Drinks were good and food was okay (wings were best out of others we ordered). They do get very crowded when weather is nice(something expected with nice rooftop) but i think this is nice place to hang out with friends for drinks. Five stars for the rooftop location but foodwise- 3 stars.

My wife made reservations for brunch on Father day and I was so excited because she has been talking about it since I made her reservations on Mothers Day. Unfortunately when we arrived at they tell us that they only have high top tables but we have a 1 yr old. They offer us a high chair that doesnt reach the table. Instead of telling us they would get us on a wait list for a table were told "well thats all we have" been to this place a few times and always great, guy working the front needs to be put in the kitchen and get a better reservation system.

Terrible service with a staff that were all just standing around not doing anything. We sat for about ten minutes before someone came by. We got a drink and they didnt come back to check on us. We decided to have our second drink down the street at summit. As we were waiting for our check, a waitress came by and wordlessly took the drink menu I had to go to the bar to get. Guess that just confirms I dont want another drink here. On our way out there were about 8 staff members standing around downstairs. Last time I go to the well...

My boyfriend and I love to come to The Well for brunch. We like to get there early to enjoy our coffee (which is attentively filled) and watch some sports on one of their many tvs, and get around to the buffet before the line gets long. I love the omelet bar and the selection of desserts. We keep coming back to this spot, it beats out a lot of upscale brunch choices bc of its laid back feel, price, and good food.

My husband and I had our wedding reception in The Waldo Room, and everything was great! The service was great, the food was good, and our guests were satisfied. We were really happy with how things turned out. I would strongly encourage hosting your party or event in The Waldo Room and at the Well. Thanks so much for helping make our day go smoothly and effortlessly. Everyone had a great time!
