I already knew what to expect when I went to the Potbelly Sandwich Shop because I had perused their menu online. I thought it all seemed like a good deal and pretty cheap. My bf got the Grilled Chicken and Cheddar (which is apparently new) and I got the Pizza Sandwich, both on wheat. The sandwiches themselves are on the small side (which is why theyre very cheap!) but they are very good nonetheless. According to my bf his sandwich was very good, I got mine with lettuce, tomato, and hot peppers, fully expecting the "hot" peppers to be banana peppers or something. Their hot peppers are actually on the "hot" side and they are what made my sandwich go the extra mile. Their sandwiches are very good, but their shakes are awesome! My bf is a vanilla shake connoisseur (he has has A LOT of vanilla shakes throughout the years) and he was saying that his vanilla shake was one of the best shakes hes had in a while (which is saying something I think!). I got the Oreo shake which was also very good, and 10000 times better than the Jack in the Box ones. They both come with tiny little flower crackers stuck on the straw (you can eat them). All in all it was great, two sandwiches and two shakes was $17, and I think thats a very good deal :)

The first time we placed our order it took forever for it to arrive, then once it did finally arrive they had forgotten the smoothie that was ordered. We called and the phone just rang and range for over 45 minutes. I finally faxed them a form letting them know what had happened with no response. I called again and finally got through to someone who was very very rude. I complained via their website and was given 2 coupons for 2 salads or sandwiches, asking to give them another chance. Keep in mind this was back this summer. Today we decided to finally use the coupons since they are expiring at the end of the yr. They only deliver for a $25.00 min order...really?!? So I called and placed our order to try to ensure accuracy. Nope not only did it take them over 2 hrs to deliver our food (3 salads) and they are literally down the street from our office. Then they did not have our complete order once again!!! But they made she they got those coupons from me. I will NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THIS POTBELLY AGAIN!!!!!!!!

Staff was very unprofessional. At one point there was a line at the register and one girl was playing on her phone and talking to the other employees about her plans for the night. At no point did she even acknowledge the people waiting to pay. The poor guy who was making shakes had to jump in to help the people at the register while the girl talked some more and then walked away. Poor guy had to make sandwiches and shakes AND take peoples money because other employees dont want to do their job. If she was off the clock she should have at least acknowledged the customers and told them someone would be right with them. From reading the other reviews it seems like when the manager isnt there customer service tanks. Very disappointed, but at least the food was good.

1st time here and we got a Bigs Pizza sandwich. I thought it might be a little bigger do $6+. It was tasty tho and service was fast and friendly. Dining room floor looked like someone mopped it poorly, red streaks. I would go again.
