We went for Valentines Day because its one of the many restaurants on the Plaza that we wanted to try. I thought it would be decent, but really it was extremely subpar. The waiter waited close to 15 minutes to take our order, when he did, he took our menus and left. Some 15 minutes after that he came back telling us that he had FORGOTTEN our order and to repeat our orders for him, okay, whatever, so I did. I ordered the Ravioli di Bello, and my boyfriend ordered the Chicken Limone. The Ravioli was actually pretty good, but my boyfriend reported that the Chicken Limone in Buca di Beppo was a thousand times better, I agreed when I tried some. After we were done with our meal, we asked for the check, it took the waiter about 10 minutes to get it for us. When he did he asked us IF WE HAD GOTTEN OUR ENTREES???? let me say this, he came to us WHILE WE WERE EATING and asked us if "everything was okay", it was the same guy as well. I really think this guy had early onset Alzheimers. We of course, told him that we had INDEED gotten our entrees and that we were ready to leave. He hovered while my boyfriend got his credit card and took the check away at the speed of light. While he came back with it I told my boyfriend to give the minimum tip, and he agreed, which is odd because he is always generous when it comes to tips. He came back with the check in about a minute and we left. We are probably not going back. The only redeeming quality the waiter had was that he kept refilling our water glasses, thanks Alzheimers guy.

Currently dining here and after coming back to just test and see if I was right I can honestly say I will NEVER dine here again. The staff is rude. Definitely there is some classist, racial bias and an air of favoritism when it comes to who gets service and who doesnt. I am an African American woman who over the past three weeks has come in about 3 times and experienced a very unpleasant demeanor and vibe from the staff. I dont know if its because I come in plainly dressed and am Black if they assume I wont tip well or will be difficult but it has been daunting to deal with every time I even walk through the entrance of the restaurant and encounter the servers, bartenders or hostess at the host stand. I work on the Plaza at a restaurant not too far and would love to patronize. I thought it was just me or just a fluke so I gave it another try. But, no. My eyes/intuition dont deceive. If you want to feel less than by all means dine here. But if you want to be treated like your money/experience matters... Go someplace else.

I went to Brio expecting a very lovely evening with my 6 and 10 year old sons last week only to have the waitress refuse to serve us. It was very obvious that she had a problem when she walked up and noticed we were persons of color. Her entire body language and facial expression changed when she walked up to the table. She placed a few items on our table and walked off without a word said. The next thing we knew we were informed that she was going home and we had a new server. However, over the next hour we watched as she walked around and took orders and served other customers. This was addressed with the floor manager who listened to my experience, she was very polite but did not seem to entertain anything I was saying. This is down right racism! I dont know her experiences nor she mine. There is no way my character has anything to do with my ethnic background. We must do better! P.S. I made sure I did leave our waiter a sizable tip. He was great!

The service was lacking as our party arrived in groups. The first group got water, the second group had to finally catch the server to get water and take drink orders, and likewise as the final group of the party arrived we had to once again catch someones attention to attend to us. The seating at other tables in our area was about half full. They did proceed to keep our water/teas etc full from then on. The staff did not ONCE clear our table as appetizers, salads, main course and desserts/coffee were served. We had to gather them ourselves and GIVE them to the staff to take away so we could have room! The food was very good and they did get the dishes to the right people without too much confusion. With a required tip of 20% on a party of 8, it felt like it was too much. Although the support staff in delivering the food was good.

We made a reservation online on a busy Friday night but unfortunately the table for our large group was occupied longer than anticipated by the restaurant. It was a little annoying as we had 3 small children with us, however the manager made it up to us by letting us order appetizers on the restaurant for having to wait. There really wasnt anything they could do to speed up the table in front of us, so we never complained, but we appreciate him taking the initiative to "make things right" as we usually go here for one of our meals on our trip to the plaza, and wed hate to have to change that due to bad service. Our waitress was friendly and helpful even with it being very busy. My crab and lobster crusted salmon was amazing. We will continue to make this place a visit on our trips

Recently, I went to Brio with a prom group, and the service was unimpressive. Our reservations were for 6:30, and we were seated ten minutes late. Because of the size of our group, we were split up into two table. The smaller table finished eating their meal before the other table received theirs even though the orders for the two tables were placed at the same time. A second group that arrived after ours was able to eat and leave before we even received our food. Because this restaurant delayed our night so much, we had to get our desserts to go, and ate them in the limo on the ride back to the prom. Overall I was highly unimpressed with the restaurant, and would not recommend it for a large group on a time schedule because the restaurant is unable to handle it.

Stopped in for some drinks and food with my mother tonight at the downstairs bar and the service was awful. The bar tender guy gave us water and then waited 10 minutes before coming back for our drink order. I had one martini and was never offered another. When it came towards 9:30pm the bartender was visually upset about being there and was slamming the bottles around on purpose making conversation impossible. He then had a conversation with an employee about how upset he was about something and then got a bar ladder out and started slamming it around as well. We did get food and it was excellent. This guy just needs to find a job he likes and get out of the bar business.

The host was very rude. After walking us to our table, noticing that we had a small child, criticized us about disrupting the fire hazard policy, instead of suggesting where we should place our things (stroller, car seat). The lemonade tasted like they used 3 year old water and just poured it over ice. After eating half my salad the waiter took it and never returned. I assumed he was boxing it up or bringing me another one but he never returned. I ordered cranberry juice after returning the lemonade and I was never offered a single refill (regardless of cost). I get better customer service at McDonalds. ....this was our first time eating here, we will not return.
