After leaving six flags on mothers day four of us stopped at Bonanza for a late dinner. The atmosphere was nice. The restaurant offered a free strawberry or mimosa to the mothers, nice touch. Our server appeared to to new to the company and lack some information about the different cuts of steak, however what she didnt know she did seek information. After waiting for about a half of an hour our food had arrived (giving we where one of the last tables of the night). Once the food got there is was an upset one of my guest order the catfish platter and his food was fried too hard. My friend and I both order ribeye steak and she received the wrong cut of meat. So now after waiting a while for the food and two of the entrées not being up to par. First we asked for the server to remove the two items, she appeared to not know wjat she was doing. Finally, we asked for a manager who in my opinion was kinda rude to the server, because she didnt properly remove the items and presented us with the incorrect bill. The two of us who did receive a meal took it to go, one not receiving his side. He have ate his meal and enjoyed his steak for lunch the next day. I have yet to eat mine hopefully it is a meal worth having and maybe we will return.

We were excited to try this place since it was new to Eureka. We came in around 8 pm. There was only two other tables in here eating. All the staff were standing around chatting in a corner. I ordered the brisket sandwich but asked for the peppers and onions on the side it came out with everything on the side. The sandwich wasnt even hot and I had a side of shredded cheese to put on it not sure how they thought it was going to melt on a cold sandwich. Sat for quite a bit waiting for a refill on my drink almost got up to get it myself. Just very unhappy with most of our experience. The bread and chips were pretty good though. Got up at one point to get my own refill. And a nice young man asked if we needed refills finally!! My boyfriend ordered the 6oz sirloin and said it was mediocre. Needless to say we will not be returning and if they dont step up their game around here I dont think this place will make it.

Our server was pleasant. They were out of the item one person in my party ordered. The appetizer was cooler than room temp, but had good flavor. My steak was cooked fine, but my side (mac and cheese) was dry and room temp. They brought the wrong side for another member of my party. Attempted to give us an additional side we didnt order. The place has potential, but there are clear training issues in the kitchen. Our table was not pre-bussed a single time. We ended up piling our dishes up in the window sill to make room on our table. Nothing brought to our table was hot, room temp at best...even the steaks. The salad bar was lack luster. Overall, very disappointing.

Fourth time and last time . Had to ask for bread half way thru dinner. Manager made salads, did not listen and did not drain olives or have slotted spoons. Hubby said couple spoons of mushrooms , that he loved them got one. The real thing was ordered 16 oz Porterhouse and I got a Porterhouse nice and med. hubby got a T-bone grizzly and over done. First time there a couple of months ago great, each time always something more down hill. We were there 45 minutes not busy it was like 2 pm, tables were left unbussed etc. As past owner of Cafe I know how should be done. We drove out of our way to eat there. Never again.

I was looking forward to the new restaurant in Eureka and did I mention that Steak is my favorite food group. With that said, I never write reviews but all of the food was cold and cooked improperly. We arrived early 5:15 and the employee to guest ratio was fairly even leaving one to believe service and quality should be decent. The service was so BAD that I do not see this restaurant being around for a long time. I was surprised to find out this was a chain restaurant because every system is broken. Good luck.... Not even sure where to start with the list of things to improve.

I was looking forward to the new restaurant. I drove 30 miles. I was a little disappointed. The server at the salad bar was not very friendly our general server was very friendly. The sauce on the ribs was good but I was disappointed in the flavor of the ribs. Over all the restaurant was clean, but for the amount employees standing around I would have expected the bathrooms to be clean as well. The restaurant is worth trying but I would probably drive not 30 miles for the restaurant.

Had to move tables due to dripping water from condensation from vents. Green beans had onions in them and taste like rubber. Menus do not detail very well what comes in the meal, you really have to ask, however even the waiters do not know and are wrong on ingredients. Be careful if you have allergies to foods. Atmosphere is pleasant and quiet, nice salad bar that they prepare for you, like a subway salad. Staff friendly and manager is attentative.

Country fried stake was great, the side of fries tasted like they were cooked in old oil. Our server disappeared for long periods of time, waited almost half an hour to get the bill after we finished. Some tables had dinner rolls given to them, we didnt have any offered to us. The salad bar is done "Subway" style. You hand over your bowl and have them make it for you.

Well we gave it a try...11:30 on a Wednesday Lunch, no one was here. Took 55 minuets to get 1 chop steak, 2 smokehouse burgers, 1 BBQ can chicken, and a smoke house chedder burger. All items were cold and looked very sad. Asked for nothing to be pink, but all was pink. The sever was VERY nice but the back of the house could not keep up with 5 orders.

Really enjoyed our first experince. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. Had steak with the mac and cheese ( which was awesome) and mash potatoes for a really good price. Complimentary rolls were great while we waited for our meals. Would definitely recommend will be returning. Fast kitchen times as well.

Fantastic service. Our waitress was just lovely. The only thing bad about the whole experience was ordering a medium rare steak and receiving one that was beyond well done.

The salad bar was good. The bbq sauce tasted like smoky ketchup and vinegar and did not go well with the brisket. I regret not getting a steak.

Service was slow, and food wasnt that great. Sandwich was warm on the outside, and barely cooked on the inside.
