I googled bbq in St Louis. This was one that appeared on the top seven bbq joints in St Louis. Not so much! The first downfall, its in a strip mall. That should have been our first clue. When you walk in it is extremely "chainy". By the looks of it we should have known the food wasnt going to be great either. I ordered the brisket sandwich with mac-n-cheese and beans. My husband ordered the beef tips with fries and cornbread. My brisket was chewey. Mac-n-cheese was great. The beef tips were seasoned and bbq-ed before they brought them to you. That would have been nice to know. The fries didnt have any seasoning on them, at all. It was definitely not worth the price. It is also definitely not one of the best seven bbq joints in St. Louis.

Im a bit of a BBQ snob I will admit. But this place was not very good. I got the brisket and it had no smoky flavor at all. In fact the texture of the meat was similar to that of a boiled corn beef brisket. The BBQ sauces are not very good (aside from the Carolina but who can mess that up? its basically Apple cider vinegar and brown sugar...) Ive had better baked beans straight out of a can. I paid close to $20 for my food. Jacks Stack (a real BBQ joint) isnt much more than that... EXTREMELY disappointed in this place... hope I can save someone else the money by advising against PM BBQ.

Food is ok. i have eaten there many times but after how I saw the manager treated some customers there, i doubt i will ever eat there again. He was the most rude employee at a restaurant I have ever seen. Servers are generally nice but it is very disorganized on what food they have and what food they are out of. The owner needs to know who is representing his restaurant. I will never eat there again. Not worth the hassle.

This is the first BBQ place I recommend to people visiting St Louis. I love the smokey taste of their pulled pork. Every one of their sides is amazing as well. The sweet corn spoonbread takes the cake for me though! The service is always fast and friendly even when super busy. Prices are very reasonable and the servings very filling. I have been here many times and never been disappointed.

Came here at the recommendation of a coworker. I regretted it one bite in. The atmosphere was cool enough. Staff was polite. Food was mediocre at best. Hard to describe...it had no taste. Didnt taste bad didnt taste good didnt taste like anything. I had the pulled pork sandwich corn spoon bread and coleslaw. I think it was the Carolina bbq sauce probably the best part.

My favorite BBQ place in St. Louis. All the sides are excellent also. The brisket is my fave with the carolina sauce. Their fries are perfect. Corn spoon bread and cheesy potato casserole are both good. Id go here way more often if it were closer to my house. There are other BBQ places in town I like but this one has the best sides.

The latest visit was a disappointment. The menu had changed, with prices up a bit and no more sausage. Drink choices and process are no where to be seen. The pulled pork was the stingiest portion Ive ever had here, not even covering the bun. I hopened this isnt the new normal for what had been a gooday place.

I had the ribs with an Asian sweet sauce. It was AWESOME. They leave it a little crispy around the edges. The girl behind the counter recommended it and I thanked her for it before I left. The sides are really good too. Family atmosphere, great place to eat.

Needs to step up. Took my kids to the new location and the brisket was like it was out of the fridge. I have eaten many times at PM before they moved and it was good. i will give them another chance but if it is bad this time I will make sure to spread the word.

Need to mix the 3 bbq sauces. 3 parts sweet, 2 parts spicy, 1 part or less Carolina. Best sauce ever! Service was always great for me. The brisket and pulled pork has been lacking sadly. Good food just not great (except the sauce)

I always stop in here on my work trips to chesterfield. And its almost always catered to at least one of my training events. Its a cute atmosphere and the pulled pork, sweet potato fries and homemade applesauce are all delish.

Always had good food here. Im partial to the brisket, but had a great smoked pork steak on my last visit (a special that day). Friendly and efficient staff. Nothing fancy at all, just yummy.

I had the pulled chicken sandwich big plate w/mac & cheese and sweet potato fries. The spicy BBQ sauce goes great with the pulled chicken. The food arrived fast and the service was great.

Come here with my wife regularly. The staff is nice, the food is good, and it doesnt break the bank. If you are looking for a casual sit down meal, then I would recommend PM BBQ.

Worst BBQ I have ever had. Burnt ends were hard as a rock. Wife had chicken salad sandwich. Neither of us finished our plates which is definitely not normal at a good BBQ place
