On 10/6/2014 I went to the Arnold, MO DQ to order a 60th birthday cake for my mother. The girl at the counter could not find the order book & was told by one of the drive thru workers to put it on a sticky note. I order a sheet cake to be picked up on 11/8/2014 & paid for the cake. I called DQ on 11/7/14 to confirm the cake would be ready on the 8th. The girl who answered said it would be ready by then. I asked if it was okay to pick up between 2:00 - 3:00 & I was informed it was already made so that was fine. When I went to DQ on the 8th there were 2 customers in front of me. They turned out to be the employees sister & boyfriend. I waited while the sister called someone else they knew & they all talked then waited so the worked could find a "little baby spoon" for her sister to use. The employee looked at me then walked from behind the counter to continue her conversation with her sister & her boyfiend. Another employee came up & said, "Well I guess Ill help you." She came out with a small round cake & asked if my order was for Allison. I said no it was a sheet cake for a 60th bday. She could not find it but did not tell me, instead had several other employees try to find it. By the time another employee came to talk to me I was very upset. He told me there was no need to be upset. I explained I called the day before to ensure it was ready & was told yes. He told me repeatedly that I must not have called the correct store. Not only was my cake missing but I was being called a liar. I told him the party was in an hour & he needed to make my cake. He told me he would not because I was upset. Who would not be upset that a cake that was ordered several weeks in advance, paid for, was told it was ready was not there?? He asked for my receipt & I told him it was at home that I didnt think I would need it. He said he would make me a new cake but would not give it to me because I dont have the receipt on me. I asked for the store managers name & number he said he could not give it out but I should call Monday-Friday anytime between 11:00-2:00. I called & what do you know, he is not there. I had less than 40 minutes to find a cake. Do you know what the stores have when you are in a pinch? Superheros & My Little Pony cupcakes. This is a far cry from the ice cream cake we had planned for my mother. Needless to say I will never order or purchase another product from DQ.

I went through the drive thru of this DQ on Saturday and had them place my entire order into a bag for the trip home. Upon arriving home and I realized they got my order wrong. I called the DQ up and let them know that they made it wrong, they put me on a LONG hold... Finally they came back on and said that because it was close to closing time I needed to put the ice cream into my freezer at home and bring it back the next day to PROVE that it was wrong. He even took time to mention that I couldnt eat any or they wouldnt replace my order, because again, I needed to PROVE that it was wrong. Are you kidding me? It what world do I need to PROVE that they made a mistake? Not to mention, but assuming that the following day I would just make a special trip to RETURN their ice cream to them... I have NEVER heard of such a policy and its obvious as to why... BECAUSE ITS A HORRIBLE POLICY. In a world where there is a MILLION fast food restaurants to go to why would I choose to spend my money at this place? Well I wont. I will drive the extra 50 feet and go to the Culvers Ice Cream which is directly next door. Poor policies lose customers.... How foolish of this DQ, how foolish.

I rarely take my family to Dairy Queen because the menu items are priced to high. We went in and sat down in the Arnold Mo. Dairy Queen and found that when receiving our meal the burgers were so greasy that our bun was completely soaked and soggy. I returned my order and it was fixed immediately. While eating and looking around, using the restroom I noticed the following,( wallpaper that had been patched or replaced all over the store that was peeling, Swivel chairs that were rusting at the base,(my kids were playing with and picking at) the bathroom was poorly lit and their was a hole in the drywall were the clean out for the plumbing and the space heater was completely rusted.) In my opinion this store was a disappointment to say the least.

I frequented the Hillsboro location because it was the closest thing to Jefferson College, and liked DQ alot. My meal: a double cheeseburger, large fry, small Pepsi hovered anywhere between $5.30 and $6.30 depending on what I got to drink. No big deal. The first time I went to the Arnold location was my last at DQ altogether. Here, a double cheeseburger, large fry, small pepsi came to $7.25. Im thinking, "This cant be right." I pull around and the girl says, "Hi, $7.45". So it is now $7.45. (Maybe next time it will be $8.50?) Ill never know because Im not going back. $7.45 was too much, especially when I got soggy wet fries. The same meal at Burger King is $4.85. Except they only have Coca Cola, no Pepsi products.

we wer going to go to Baskin Robins, but decided to come here anyways..because i wanted chocolate blizzard. my 3 kids and I are standing and waiting on the young girl to stop wiping down the trays, didnt even give us the time of day, I finally after waiting, for her to acknowledge us, pit my purse on counter and cleared my throat. she acted as if I should be said hi first... Ive worked in customer service for 20 yrs... she is suppose to say hi to the customer first... anyways.. I asked for a chocolate ice cream blizzard and they told me it was not working. so I didnt order, then I saw a girl walk out with a chocolate cone. MADE ME SO MAD!! IM DONE COMING TO THIS DAIRY QUEEN AND SO ARE ALL MY FRIENDS. RUDE

Just your average Dairy Queen. The bizzard are always thick and creamy. But there is something about the atmosphere inside the lobby that make it feel homely. Plus the play cartoon network and sports networks inside.

Food is good and the combos/deals make the prices reasonable. Non-sale items are a bit high sometimes. The service is average at best; often lots of high school kids that would rather chat with each other. :(

For a family type place I was appalled that one on the girls who worked there was in leggings and see thru ones at that with a thong on ... its sad when an 8 year old little boy points it out
