Had the beef brisket sandwich combo. The sandwich was tender and juicy with a good flavor. The first side was a deep fried ear of corn, also very good. The other side was baked beans which had a bit of zing to them, also good. Overall the combo platter was good, but on the expensive side for 11.49. I guess not bad for brisket. The disappointment was desert, got the banana pudding for 3.49 which composed of about 6 vanilla wafers, some runny pudding and maybe a slice of banana.

The food was good, prices reasonable. Service was terrible. There were 3 people and a cook working. The three people in the front were carrying on a conversation and did not stop to acknowledge that we even walked up to the counter. I guess their conversation was more important than the customers, of which we were the only ones there at the time. Also we ordered sweet potato fries and were given regular fries. Sorry we interrupted their conversation with ordering food.

Love this place! Its the best pulled pork Ive ever had, its fresh, never dry & the dry rub is great. I buy pounds of pulled pork. As far as the customer service implied in previous reviews do not do them justice. I came in with my silly son & they were anything but rude, they engaged in conversation, offered suggestions, went over specials & made sure I had what I needed in pulled pork/sauce/drinks before I walked out the door.

Food is the best. Visiting from Texas. This place has the best bbq. Downside is the employees. The three in the front, Mallory and two men, play too much. They messed up on my to go order and the man ordering after me wanted his order to go and they brought it to him on a tray. And then they applogize. If they would pay attention, they wouldnt make mistakes like that. But they play and laugh and forget this is someones business.

First, let me say that Ive eaten BBQ all over the country and live within miles of a joint marked #2 in the world. This place is top-tier and perhaps the best dry rub Ive ever had. Putting sauce on those ribs should be illegal. Staff is friendly and courteous. I had the 2 meat combo with brisket and ribs, baked beans and fries. It was all very, very tasty and the portions will leave you wanting only one thing - a nap!

Southern Pride has good customer service. They catered our ribbon cutting ceremony and the food was wonderful. I loved the barbecue sliders and the white queso with tortilla chips. Everyone was bragging how good the food was. Thanks for helping our ceremony to be a success. My family and I will be visiting soon.

Front staff not friendly ice for fountain drinks empty had to tell some needed ice. Two meat combo portions small for amount paid no fried corn available potato salad not good. drive a little more get better value bbg.front staff asked how it was and then said sorry you didnt like it. Oh well wont be back!

Poor customers service white lady at front register had a nasty attitude. The BBQ nacho was dry . When she gave me my order I didnt get a thank you . I asked a question about my order she were real nasty with her response.,me and my coworkers will never eat there again.

I had the brisket plate with deep fried corn and Cole slaw. The brisket was tender and very flavorful. I have never had fried corn but it tasted good. The Cole slaw was ok. Probably me more than anything as I tend to like sweet slaw.
