I cant believe that this place has lasted this long. Tried it when it first opened and the food was terrible but I figured every place has a settling period, maybe it was an off day or something. I decided to give it another shot recently and my first impression was confirmed, just plain bad. It clearly is not authentic Mexican food, tastes very generic and bland. The only thing Mr Tequila really has going for it is the location.

The food is authentic as you will find this far north of the border. The staff does much better with English than I do with Spanish so no complaints there plus they are very friendly. The atmosphere is reminiscent of places I have visited south of the border. I, personally, find their prices to be competitive and their menu large enough for just about anyone to find something they might enjoy.

Ricky use to be the best waiter too bad he isnt there anymore BUT other than that highly recommend everybody to give this place a shot. Dont forget 99£ MARGARITA MONDAYS!! Ask your server for most popular dishes, my personal favorite was the Queso Fundido Dinner
