Aztecas is in the location of the old Los Tres Amigos but its completely (and I mean completely) redone. They gutted the place and put in a whole new, bright, open interior and have a completely different menu. You need to stop by just to get a look at how its changed. My wife had a wrap and soup combo and raved about the soup. I had the Pollo Ranchero, which is just rice, beans and pulled chicken, which was fine but not a good item by which to judge a kitchen. Service was very friendly. Well be visiting them again. They have lots of TVs if youre into that and the background music is modern Mexican, in contrast to the non-stop Tejano featured when Los Tres was here.

The food was less than favorable. Most of it was very bland and my chile relleno looked like mush. It was cooked like a flat pepper layered in meet soup and topped with cheese and the after taste was like dish soap. I expected a much more authentic experience for such a nice and newer restaurant. I really liked their queso but it was in a dish smaller than the salsa dish. Im sure it cost a pretty penny but I didnt get a look at the check. The salsa was bland and nothing memorable. Im from Oklahoma and they have the most authentic Mexican food I have ever had. This place isnt real mexicano. Its mexiplaino.

The service was great, though there was a little bit of a language barrier. The food came out very quickly. The appetizer came out with our drinks. We tried the sampler since it was our first time and it was great. The chicken quesedillas were especially good. As for the entrées, they also came out quickly. The order was correct, and the food was hot. The fajitas could be heard sizzling from across the restaurant. I cant say enough good things about the food. The decor was inviting and relaxing. It was a bit more pricey than comparable places, but I think the speed, quality, and atmosphere make up for it.

I visited this restaurant and ordered shrimp tacos. I bit into my taco, in it was a piece a plastic that cut my tongue. I asked for a manager, once I arrived he never apologized, he stated he would replace my taco and reduce the price of the ticket. Once I received the ticket it was full price. I asked for corporate number, he said it wasnt a corporate office. He showed no remorse for the plastic cutting my tongue or about it bleeding. I had to tell him either you pay for me going to the doctor or Im not paying for my food. I will not eat here again.

I went to this restaurant today for lunch. I ordered steak tacos. The steak had no flavor at all... And it did not come with anything to put on it, I didnt order sour cream or lettuce or anything because I assumed it would come with all that. So just had some flavorless dry steak tacos and a grilled green onion and jalapeno pepper... For $16 it was not worth it at all. Ill just stick to taco bell from now on... The food isnt great but at least I wont be out $16.00.

Slowest service ever! Our waitress was the least attentive I have ever had. Never in my life have I considered nor giving a tip! The food was over priced for the service provided! We had to ask for chips three times and 10 minutes later they finally came out. I mispronounced falutas when ordering and our server was very quick to correct my mistake while adding some attitude! First and last time I will visit this place!

Food is great bald-headed manager seems to single out women to ask them how they feel about there food came to my table six times just to talk to my wife about how she felt about her food did not ask any other person at the table how they felt about theres kind of thought that was odd maybe you should talk to that manager about how hes doing things made me very uncomfortable

My wife and i came here for cinco de mayo. The restaurant was very busy for the holiday but our waiter still checked on us regularly and the food came out quickly. The ceviche was fantastic, especially after our waiter recommended throwing some hot sauce on it. Well done handling a busy day Aztecas.

The food was much better than expected. The whole restaurant is very nice, when I first pulled up I thought it might be pricey because the place looks so nice but surprisingly the food is probably cheaper than it should be. The food taste great and if very affordable. We got our food very quickly also.

$8.50 for a tiny burrito is a little ridiculous. No Nachos. The order was messed up; got exactly the opposite of what we asked for (green sauce and no guacamole) instead ended up with red sauce and a nice big blob of guacamole. The waitress was slow. Will not be returning.

When I came here which is may 5, 2017 this place is too crowded and we were standing up waiting for hours the people there were extremely rood and instead of trying to clear tables they just watched us stand and let people sit longer ....the food wasnt that good either

Delicious food! Authentic.piping hot and spiced just right. The atmosphere was festive and lively. If you enjoy a great dining experience,wonderful food and a staff eager to please--not to mention really clean facilities---check this place out! Very child friendly too!

Awesome Im Hispanic and this food is authentic!! Love the atmosphere and the service and how fast the food comes out no matter how bz! Love it! Im from new Orleans n they have a lot there but for my favorite since living here this is the best!! Spanish restaurant :)

Service is always good. Friendly staff but this is the most bland food Ive ever tasted. Tried twice with different dishes and walked away both times disappointed. I completely enjoy my Spanish dishes and this comes no where close to authentic. Wont be trying again.

Main course is delicious. Some of the worst customer service Ive received. Took almost an hour to get drinks and when we brought our complaints to the manager he did not care. Why 2 stars instead of 1? Like I said Ill be damned if that food wasnt very good.

Food and service are great, but they really need to do something about the noise level. Really needs some sound absorbing material. It sounds like a school cafeteria. And when they have live music, it feels like I am at a concert, not a restaurant.

We are from out of town and this is the best Mexican food we have ever eaten. We will be back in Gulfport in 2 weeks and this is the first stop we will make. We have been talking about the food since last year. Excellent service and atmosphere.

Though I would try somewhere new and wish I wouldnt have. The food was over done and the hostess complained about things in war shot of costumers. My kids both said they would have rather went to our regular place in Long Beach.
