Never tried the pizza, this review is for the sandwich and service. The guy who took my order was indifferent. Nothing rude but certainly not pleasant. When I arrived to picked it up, same thing. In a customer service position, at least smile and say thank you, neither of which happened. Ordered the Gwashy sub. Fist off, I thought it was a hot sandwich, my fault for not asking but, when I was told it would be 10-15 minutes to make it, I just assumed it was and didnt think anything of it. Next to no sauce so, good thing I ordered some on the side out of curiosity. There was less than an eighth inch of meat and cheese on a massive loaf of bread. Very little in the topping department. Even the lettuce was almost non existent. Only topping in abundance was pickles and, holy God, there were a lot of them. I dont mean to whine but, there was just no part of this entire encounter that was enjoyable. Seems Im not the only one who feels this way. Work on service and Id suggest less bread or more toppings.

Ordered the 18" italian sub with Gwashy sauce $13+ PRO We are going back to try the pizza as some reviewers say good/great pizza but wondering if that was last owner or current. We will remain objective and give Pizza a try to be balanced in our reviews. CON. I will never order another sub sandwich there until they announce things have changed in that area. Sub bread was way too dense. Meat/lettuce/tomatoes/onions took up 10% of sandwich and bread took up 90%. Sorry but the sub here gets 1 star, I barely tasted the gwashy sauce! Shame to say major chain subs much much better! Hint if you want to stay in business....change your bread product and add more good stuff and dont be stingy with the sauce if you are going to use the gwashy name.

Update to my previous review 2 years ago. I knocked off three stars. The last two times ive ordered, its tasted cheap, bland, and barely any toppings. Our sausage pizza, had slices with no toppings, and some pieces with only one chunk. The cheese pizza, has more sauce than cheese. But i guess thats why theres other pizza places in Big Lake! I will not be ordering from them again. Its STILL EXPENSIVE. Too bad it went south for this pizza pub but I guess the competition has won. The reason for the 2 star...I guess I still got the product.

This place went under an ownership change I believe. Not very good pizza. Thought wed try the place and ordered a pizza for pick up. While waiting in the lobby the owners kids were running all over the kitchen area. Then a sign perched on the window ledge fell on my sons head while he was sitting there. The lady owner just laughed! No apology. Pizza was about as good as a frozen pizza. Well stick to Primo Pizza in Monticello for delivery or Papa Murphys for pick up.

BEST pizza ever! Owners were very friendly and open to making any kind of pizza I want (peanut butter). Obviously a very family friendly establishment! To the person who had the unfavorable experience, I find it very hard to believe that we were visiting the same pizza place. I loved that I could sit and visit with the owner while my pizza was made. Definitely worth the money, WAY better than anything else in the area.

Will never order pizza from this place again. The owner and workers are SO RUDE and condescending. I have experienced this underlying rudeness every time I have ordered/picked up pizza at this place. The pizza is good, very expensive. But the outwardly rude employees are just too much for me. If you value kindness dont give your money to the Pizza Pub of Big Lake, MN.

I called tonight to order a medium 1 topping Pizza and an order of cheese bread and the Grand total was $19.68 FOR CARRY OUT! I took my buisness down HYWY 10 to PIZZA FACTORY where I got a LARGE 1 TOPPING AND GARLIC CHEEAEBREAD FOR 12.95! Time to step up your game Pizza Pub! Lower your prices and get Dailey specials!

Ordered delivery. Order came fast but was wrong and i was overcharged. When store was contacted the customer service was poor. Order couldnt be fixed and all they eventually offered was refund of the overcharged amount which i have yet to receive.

This is not your typical pizza. Pizza Pub has a truly crafted product. They do cost more, but they are worth it! Give their subs a try as well. The secret sauce does not disappoint.
