Awful... Youd think after getting 1.8 stars on Google youd make an attempt to improve things just slightly. Today I visited on my lunch hour, (which is one hour long, to be exact). There were about 5 people in the restaurant. They were out of ice, which the gentlemen working so kindly handed out ice from the back before refilling the ice. The soda was flat, and very syrupy - when I said something I was informed it would "take a while to fix it sooo". The food was coming out in no particular rhyme or reason. The couple that ordered three after me received their entire full meal in a span of 5 minutes - while the rest of us waited around 15 minutes. Others were receiving random orders of french fries and burgers - and constantly going up to tell them they had the wrong thing, or something was missing. I still waited... 28 minutes later I walked up to the register and asked about the status of my order. The girl mumbled under her breath (presumably about the other employees) come on man, they havent even made this one yet. I smiled, it was okay - everyone was new, no big deal. 10 minutes later... still no food. I asked again. A tall girl huffed around the corner and practically shoved the bag of food in my hand. Everyone then disappeared around the back. I got back to my office (my ENTIRE lunch break over), and the food was COLD and the fries were mushy. They also forgot an order of fries... My fault for not saying something right then and there but nearly 40 minutes for two cheeseburgers and fries? Not acceptable

As soon as I walked in I was told they were out of ice cream. I dont even know how a Dairy Queen can manage to be out of ice cream on a really nice Saturday when people will come just for ice cream. That should have been a sign to leave then and there. I waited over 30 minutes for a simple Cheeseburger and never even received it. I ended up leaving because there was no sign they were even trying to make it happen. While I was waiting a worker went into the middle of the dining area and announced that it wasnt his fault orders were being screwed up, it was because of all the new people. Very professional, also amazing because I never a saw a complete order make it out to any customers waiting for dine in. Right before I left, what looked like some form of manager came in (in plain clothes and an attitude), delivered ice cream for their machines, and helped take orders for customers in line but made no effort to help anyone waiting for their orders.

Easily the worst Dairy Queen in the twin cities. The manager shrieks at her employees when things dont get done, (which is 99.9% of the time) and you can end up waiting anywhere between 5-30 minutes for your food. Kitchen staff are most likely dissatisfied with their hourly wage, because they move slower than Stephen Hawking running a hurdle race. I order a blizzard every time I go to Dairy Queen, and if you make the mistake of stopping in at this location, the top half of the blizzard will be overloaded with toppings and the bottom half with absolutely nothing. Conclusion: if you want some of the worst and slowest service, worst food, and the worst experience, this place cant be beat!

This place is awful, I never write reviews and am generally pretty understanding but when you wait ten minutes for the car In Front of you and ten minutes to get your order taken since they forgot you were there after telling you to hold on one moment, when youre the only two there, added on another 5-7 minutes each for waiting for your food, no apologies or anything, and when you pull up to the window you see literally six employees just standing behind the counter BSing with each other. This place has the worst service I have ever seen. I have given then multiple chances and each time the service is the same. Location could benefit from new staff or management that cares at all.

They messed up my order and had to call a manager in order to get by refund. The ice was completely empty and there were no flavors (cherry, orange, etc.) for the Coke machine. The next customers order for a single treat was also messed up and they were out of a lot of toppings. The whole time one employee just stood around confused. Im guessing she was brand new, possibly first day, and no one was training her. At one point an employee had to literally run out the door to try and deliver food theyd forgotten to give a customer. In the end, our food was alright, but the experience was bizarre and the employees clearly needed stronger training and management.

Worst experience ever!!! Honest to God , waited or (stuck) rather in the drive threw for over 20 minutes!! , huge line of cars not moving at all , I called the store while in line asking what the problem was , their response was" oh we are short staffed today" I get to the window and I see at least 5 workers inside , not doing a thing , one guy was even eating a cone at the window, so I was just lied to over the phone, we finally get to the window and for over 2 minutes no one says Hi , takes my money, nothing , so I pull away , take my advice a DO NOT patronize this location, I will never go back to another DQ , I will be contacting corporate in the morning !!

This place does not even deserve the star that Im giving it we had to wait 45 minutes for our food and we only got it after we went up to the counter and asked them for it. And their excuse was that they thought theyd sent it out already. And that there was someone back there who didnt know how to make it. The employees were too busy taking care of their own food and their own drinks and when they were getting off than taking customers orders and making their food. Until this place gets better management or better employees do NOT go here. If anyone else is had a bad experience I would suggest complaining to the Dairy Queen Corporation to help resolve the issue.

Terrible customer service. Im not even sure that the employees have been trained in taking orders. All of them seem to be trying to make blizzards and not anything else, resulting in orders being missed or completely messed up. They accidentally made extra blizzards and nicely offered them for free, however and employee on break jumped up and grabbed them before any customer could. Ive been waiting here for 10 min for my food that they forgot to make while listening to this cluster f*** of a place.Considering it is a very busy location I would think they could train their emplyees better.

Franchise owner please read!! Im not sure what business owner would feel comfortable with employees that close the grill more than an hour before close. Our family of of 6 came in to get dinner, blizzards and a cake. No food an hour before close Out of cookie dough ingredients The cake was old. The manager was rude and indignant to the role of custormer/ service industry. Id recommend the managment read "How to treat your customers" by Bob Miglani, son of DQ founder. Or have them go work for the cable company customer service.
