This sonic knows exactly how not to build customer loyalty. I ordered 12 wings buffalo and 12 wings bbq on Mondays buy one get one free wing night. I didnt see this promotion until after I had paid. When the carhop finally (20 minutes after we ordered) brought our food out I asked if I could get the difference back on my card. She said shed have to ask her manager. We ate our entire meal (probably around 15 minutes) without her coming back. I had to get out and find her so I could ask about getting my money refunded. She said that because I didnt specify that I wanted the BOGO wings and I swiped my card, there was nothing they could do. First of all, why wouldnt they tell me about the special when ordering wings? If you go to wing night at BWWs would they charge you full price for wings if you didnt specify you wanted the discount? If you order a drink at this sonic during happy hour, do you have to say that you dont want to pay full price? After getting the manager involved, I did get the one set of wings taken off my card, which is funny since supposedly they couldnt do it when I asked the first time. It took way too much of my time and effort to get what is right, and what most restaurants would give you you without asking. Slow and horrible customer service, we got our dessert elsewhere.

The WORST customer service Ive EVER had in my life! We pulled up to the stall, got our order placed, tried to pay with my card and the card reader didnt work, so I kept trying and eventually gave up and figured Id just pay when they brought the food out. We sat there for 35 minutes waiting and finally an employee came over and asked us, "Have you two ordered anything?" We said we did a long time ago and she asked if we ran through the drive through and then parked there....no, no we did not. And she said she would go look for our order and grab her manager. 15 minutes later the manager came over and apologized, said that our order was rang up in the drive through and that they were making us a fresh order. Then he told us he was discounting our food, he took $5 off the total, for as long as we sat there it should have been free. By now we had been there for over an hour and still no food, we waited 20 minutes after the manager left and we still didnt have any food! So we left. Never going back there again.

Waited for over an hour trying to figure out the credit card machine and for someone to help us to see if they got the payment but nobody came... waited to talk with a manager and when the carhop came they said they were busy doing something else and did not want to answer any questions about what the manager had to do instead of working out this problem... waited for another ten minutes for our order and when it got there it wasnt what we ordered.... they tried charging me 30 dollars for two shakes and a slushy... the drink should have been free at that point but the carhop said that they couldnt do anything to take down the cost...took 20 minutes to get change, which ended up being a 10 dollar bill, because I wasnt going to let them take my card jnside of the building, and even then the carhop was rude and insistant on a tip...worst customer service I have ever experienced....

One drunken employee... "thats life." Since the beginning of Sonics there has never been a Sonic as horrible as this. The first time I ate here, my friend and I had the pleasure of conversing for twenty solid minutes with an employee getting off his shift, (getting fired?) who was clearly intoxicated. Though the conversation was mildly entertaining, producing one liners that my friend and I still quote today, the entire situation was extremely inappropriate for a restaurant visit. The few subsequent times that I have had the pleasure of returning to this location have produced situations involving employees who seem completely aloof to all the standards of common costumer service, a lack of knowledge regarding simple check splitting, and orders delivered to me that have been flat out incorrect. I will not return.

The Sonic burgers are usually cold. They were coming hot for a while, now theyre back to being cold. Last few times I ordered the Super Sonic Double Cheeseburger and I only got a single patty. (They fixed the order.) Just now ordered the same double and got a single patty again. I Didnt notice till half way eating the burger. They wont take back the old burger of course, so I didnt get it corrected because its such a waste of food. (Cant eat all that.) So if you want a free burger, get the double and show them that they didnt put the second patty. Boom, now youve got tripple patties. Other than that the rest of the food is alright. Theres not another Sonic for a ways so not much choice. Drink and treats selection are great. Mostly a nostalgic choice to come here.

Stopped for lunch on 02/07/16, several car hop spots will filled, we pulled into one, got our order together and when we tried to order we were told it was Drive Thru only, even though there were car hops out serving other vehicles. Looked at the length of the line and if you figure about a 10 minute wait for made to order food, we were looking at 60 minutes plus in line....needless to say McDonalds got our order that day. We enjoy Sonics a lot but it would have been worth driving to the Savage location where weve never had a issue. The Bloomington one is less to be desired which is kind of sad. On such a decent day in MN and not to be offering car hop service is pretty poor customer service.

Drove up to a stall and pressed the button. A few minutes later, someone who works there said they arent using the stalls but I could go through the drive-thru then park in a stall later. There were no signs saying the stalls werent being used, and the button worked, so it didnt make sense that they just decided not to use them. I decided Id just go somewhere else, but I try to drive out of the one-way parking lot, and someone is in the drive-thru AND a delivery truck is parked right next to it, so there is literally no path for me to drive away. Bad setup, no service, and overall annoying. No need to go back.

The day I went, none of the stalls were operating. I pulled in and pushed the button, waited, and was told to drive through because of a technical problem. I did. The line was longer than normal, but very efficient. I could see staff bringing out orders for cars lined up behind me. Thats always a good sign. Even though systems were down, they were making the best of it. I can only presume thats because theres a good manager on staff here. Ive been to other locations where something like this could be a completely different story.

Lady at window was pretty damn rude. She never even asked if I needed sauces for my meal. The fries and popcorn chicken were cold, and the fries were also soaked in grease. The guy who took my order tried to charge me separately for fries, popcorn chicken, and a drink instead of ringing up the combo...which was sketchy. I only ate the food because I was starving, otherwise I would have tossed it in the garbage. Generally I never have an issue with any Sonic, but their customer service here REALLY sucks. But the lemonade gets 5 stars.
