Not just specifically the Roseville location, but Pizza Luce in general is transcendent pizza. Im not the sort of guy who likes "specialty" pizzas, and I am told by those in the know that I am still missing out by not giving myself the opportunity to truly evaluate what their artisans come up with, but frankly... Theres a lot to be said about taking a simple kind of pizza and just doing it noticeably better than other places. Seriously. Today I had a large pizza with tomato and green pepper, nothing else special about it, but Id still rank it among the best pizzas Ive had recently. Its hard to even say why - no element stood out, simply everything was top tier; thats always my experience with Pizza Luce. I wouldnt order anything else if other chains costs werent so much lower. Luces menu is extensive beyond pizza, including pasta dishes, salads, desserts, and several things Im forgetting. In-store they serve by the slice (at least at certain times of night, in Minneapolis) and serve alcohol. Trendy, good for friends or for a date (if your date is cool, relaxed). They sell Izzys Ice Cream by the pint, which is a peerless local product. Excellent option for vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free diners, but has no dearth of carnivore fare either. If youre into good food, cooked food, you know, pizza? Youll be able to find what you like here. Even if youre just ordering the same type of thing you would from a nationwide chain, youll like what Luce does with it.

We used to be regular visitors to the Lucé on Selby, but now that they opened up much closer to home, this is our go-to brunch spot. The prices are generally a couple bucks less than anything else of similar quality, so its a pretty good deal as far as brunch goes. Their brunch menu is decently sized, but not so huge itll take you forever to make a choice. The breakfast pizza is as awesome as youd assume at a pizza joint, and their various takes on a benedict are all good. Theyre also really child friendly, which is great. And thats just the brunch. Of course, theyre first and foremost a pizza place. They have quite a selection of interesting pizza, and its all been good as far as Im concerned. The pizza isnt as cheap as the brunch, but its also more of a gourmet style than your average pie. And if youre eating pizza, you also need beer, and they have a pretty decent and varied rotating selection; probably 15-20 beers on tap, 30% high gravity. Wait staff is awesome, attentive and friendly but not cloying, and the general vibe is chill. Its nice to finally see some local restaurants start making a dent in the large chain scene in the Roseville area.

I was super excited to hear there was a Pizza Luce coming to my area and would deliver to my place. I have been a long time customer of the Lyndale Ave as well as the Selby Ave Locations for many years. The Roseville location seems to be struggling. Tonight was the fourth time ordering from Roseville and will be my last. Before I placed my order i contacted Manager Brian to remind him of my last order that they had forgotten the garlic cheese bread ( gave me an attitude over $4.99) and were going to comp it on this order. My wife ordered spaghetti which had no taste and im not exaggerating. Also ordered the classic pizza with onions on only half of the pizza. Half pizza must mean 2 slices to these cooks. ( Seriously how do you mess that up) Also ordered a Large ceasar salad with extra dressing which I paid for. Received a half of a small cup of dressing which isnt enough for even a fourth of the salad. All around I just have to get it out there that this location is obviously struggling with incompetence and poor management. Wish I could get my money back for this worthless food Guess ill be making the drive to Lyndale for now on.

Absolutely my favorite Roseville restaurant. Yes, the pizza is spendy, but its a specialty pizza place (meaning, youre not paying for frozen, grocery- store- quality pizza...its made from scratch and its absolutely fantastic as a result), so....not sure why there are so many complaints about this. Also, the salads are an amazing deal. I get the greek salad every time, and only order a small. I could eat it as a meal its so huge! Definitely a favorite! My husband and I eat here on the regular, and weve had nothing but positive experiences, helpful staff members, and friendly bartenders. I hope and believe this restuarant will continue to shine as one of Rosevilles best.

I had spaghetti and my friend had a gluten-free pizza. She thought the pizza was too garlicky at first, but after a few bites began to love it. My spaghetti was... odd. Instead of grated parmesan cheese, it had two strips of mozzarella, so the first few bites had cheese but none thereafter. The sauce was watery with chunks of tomato - an awful lot like salsa youd get at a Mexican restaurant instead of traditional spaghetti sauce. Meatballs were pretty good, though. Other people might like it, but it just wasnt for me. Id go back and give them another try, but I wont get the spaghetti.

Just ordered a pizza for pick up and decided to eat outside and one of the employees comes over and ask us do we need anything I suggest we would like to eat outside so he goes to check and see if theres anything available meanwhile there is nobody really outside maybe like 6 people outside he tells us we can sit anywhere then tells us next time it might be a problem so basically he told me if I order for pick up I cannot eat inside ok lets see if I ever go back to that location but the outside waiter was cool he gave me a free lemonade so I had to leave him a good tip

Worst experience ever. Went out to celebrate. Had double the wait time when quoted 35 minutes. There was only 1 other group there when we got there. Manager was incompetent, and frazzled when it did get busy and sat about 6 groups that got there after us first. When we finally got seated apps took 45 mins, then forgot one of our meals. We tried calling ahead cause there was 7 of us, but were told to come in instead. 1 star only cause the food we did get was alright. Previous experience again was quoted 25 mins and waited over an hour.

So lucky to have this in Roseville. Possibly the best restaurant in Roseville and home of the great societal equalizer: pizza. Well managed, family friendly, great brunch, full bar, this place has more than their signature "creative pizzas." It has salads, sandwhiches (hot or cold), pasta, and dessert as well as specialty cocktails and craft beer. You can bring your grand mother or your mouthy alternative teenager and everyone will have something to enjoy. Theyve got TV at the beautiful bar area for watching the game too!

This newest Pizza Luce location is very good. The taps are plentiful, the service is efficient, and the pizza tastes very (very!) good. We recently went for my wifes birthday dinner, and they even included a free dessert. The parking lot can get a bit awkward if you are trying to drop off elderly/small children up front, especially if its busy. You can also get par-baked pizza for carry out...tastes a bit better to cook it at home and have it hot when you get there.
