I have never been so disrespected and racially profiled at a local restaurant before that Ive had to do something about it. Last night my family and I went to Old Chicago to celebrate my younger sisters birthday and received horrible discussing service from the server Karyn Fischbach and Katy Bensen the night manager. It took 20 minutes for Karyn to come and take our drink orders. We asked for water with lemon and didnt received any lemons, but we ignored that and said thank you anyways. There was no reply from Karyn as she just walked away. every time she came to the table she had an angry look so we asked if she was okay. She replied snapping "yes, Im okay" we didnt understand why she was being hostile towards us, and thought maybe shes just having long night. My brother and brother-in-law ordered each a beer and was told by the Karyn that she can only bring out one drink at a time. That was the last straw for us and we decided to leave only to have the manager come out and start accusing us of doing things and kept yelling over and over "you people are not welcome here and dont come back!" before we left the restaurant "White" customers started clapping about us being forced out. We left the restaurant without any problems, the manager and server continued to harass us by coming out to the parking lot and kept yelling "youre not welcome here" and threatening to call the police. The Manager followed us to our cars and attempted to open my sisters car door banging on her window, trying to get a rise out of us so she can call the cops. Weve been to Old Chicago many times and have never encountered this kind of racist discrimination before. I will be writing a letter to our local news paper to let them know of this racial incident also. As we drove off, the manager and server laughed and pointed feeling so righteous. My father also fought for this country, but we cant get equal treatment, services, and be welcome into your restaurant...?

I placed my order at 10:54 pm 8/14/15. When I got there I had to wait 5 minutes before someone greeted me. The host had the nerve to tell me that I did not place my order. I showed him the number roseville old chicago number and he said yes that might be ther number. I had to walk out and tell my boyfriend to come in. He asked what the problem and i told him about how they never got our order. We drove 15-20 minutes the anticipated time the food should be ready for pick up. Boy do you know the host came out to the parking and said they dropping my order right now... Oh really. Now when the order is ready I looked in the bag and there was only some chicken strips and a slice of cheesecake. First of all. It was me and my boyfriend, so how are we gonna split that and second of all how do you explain vanilla cheese cake; That it not what i ordered. Never had I been treated so poorly at a place I liked. Old chicago you will not get another dollar out of me!

I called early one recent afternoon to place a reservation. I was told they didnt take reservations but if I called back 30 minutes prior to coming, theyd "put my name on the list," and there would be no trouble getting me a table. I called that evening as instructed, right before we left the house. Rather than take my name, they assured me there would be no waiting. When I got there 15 minutes later, it was packed, and of course there was a long wait. Three points of contact that day, each of them a swing and a big miss. Three strikes, and theyve lost a customer as a result.

I am not happy in that I had some of my kids sign up for the NCAA Bracket Challenge - and they got In OK with the sign up via email and when they received their certificates ($5 off appetizer etc) - The coupons were not usable because there was a (small print) disclaimer that they had to be 18) years of age or older. "Pretty Poor Marketing - if you are kept from the certificate redemption - maybe when they enroll next year they shouldnt be even accepted with a congratulations Email. I will share the facts that this years bracket challenge was misleading!!!!!!

A great place for beer as this chain likes to boast over 100 brews. Any place that offers more than Miller and Bud Light on tap gets a nod from me. Unfortunately the rest of the experience was hardly above average. The food is pretty unremarkable with some items I wouldn’t order again. The pizza is acceptable but not something I’d brag about with the crust being the part I hate the most about it. It’s not a plus when your crust tastes and has the texture of a loaf of bread. This restaurant is decent enough to visit if you’re in the area.

Came here on a Tuesday night around 7pm and it wasnt busy at all. However, service was very slow. My order was screwed up and my food was given to the table next to us. When I told the waitress, she went to the other table and took the food that was suppose to be mine and handed it to me. NOT HAPPY. Giving food that was already dished to someone else, who knows what they did to it, it so disgusting. I loved coming to this location, but after this experience, I will most likely not be going back.

The food & service was good. However, the place is very dirty. A little girl blew on the railing by us and dust drifted everywhere including into our beer. We looked up and the air vent was just covered with dust/dirt. My friends and I usually meet up once a month for happy hour here. We will give it one more try.... If it is not cleaned, we will find a different place to meet.

We went there last Friday. The place was crowded. We had to wait for 20-25 mins. The white couple only waited for 5 mins and they were seated before us which is not cool. The table could seat 3. When my husband complained they immediately found a table for us. The server was very nice though and the Meat Me deep dish pizza and chicken wings were delicious.

Pay 10.95 for a hamburger and you expect the bun to be fresh the top of the bun was actually crunchy it was so old very sad. My waitress TOLD THE manager BUT HE was to stop by or did not bother. I will not be going back. The floors were very dirty = gressy walking past the kitchen to go to the bathroom I had to worry about slipping with my cane.

We went here on a Friday night around 7pm, and we didnt have to wait very long. Food was served fairly quickly and was excellent! Drink list was very impressive. One of our entrees was made incorrectly and the waitress noticed the second she set it down and immediately went back to the kitchen to fix it. We will definitely be back!

Surprised that there are so many 1 star reviews. I come here about 2 to 3 times a month and there is a reason: late night specials. Three bucks for a pint of almost any beer on tap, and two bucks each for pub pizzas, amazing fries, and other appetizers. Delicious and cheap. What more could you ask for?
