**This JUST happened.** I ordered a pizza for take out. When I called, I set the time for the pickup. "Okay, got it." When I got to the restuarant, I paid for the pizza and they let me know it was not ready yet - but they would go check on it. No biggie. I had a little time to wait. After a little bit, there appeared to be some searching around, and staffs faces started to look a little off... And as you guessed it, my order was lost/misplaced/not started. They let me know if would be about 15 minutes or so. It is Friday night. I had a FULL day at work and was planning to chill at home with my family - and I was looking forward to bringing this fresh pizza to them. This all was not going to be happening very soon it turned out. While I waited, the staff at Green Mill offered a drink and I politely declined. (Im not big into sodas --and a beer would have put me to sleep!) ;) Time went by and by some more. I figured something had happened (like this order got pushed back even further somehow). It had to have been 30 minutes and finally the pizza was brought to the counter. The woman explained to me that the pizza is here and that it was ready but that the manager was coming with a gift card. And in a moment the manager came out and handed me a gift card with their apologies. The card was for $25. My original bill didnt quite make it to that. These folks made my night! Thank you all! I came out of this all more relaxed, happy and smiley than how I went in. Through the experience I was never agitated or mad over any of it. Things happen -- and I really hope that people cut me some slack in those odd moments when everything just slides right off the table and is not fixable. I got to just chill and mess with a game on my phone. I just sat there and really got to relax more than I had all day leading to this moment. It was great that they did the card - but really it was all more than that. Nobody had to do the card. There could have been excuses and more. There werent any. They just said that it really just shouldnt ever take that long. They totally set a high bar. Solid service and solid customer care is happening here. Like really caring it seemed. Thanks folks! The pizza was great. I will be back soon. And yall really did something special. You made a fan. I hope your nights are awesome too! Sheldon

we get seated and the waiter comes over almost right away and asks us what we want to drink. I havent even opened the drink menu yet and as I open it it says "waters to start?" and walks away. finally ordered drinks and food. my drink was super strong I could barely drink it. my boyfriend, who has had his fair of drinks and can handle strong drinks, even thought it was strong. received our food my dish was good but my boyfriends salad was frozen and he couldnt even finish it. at the end of the meal my boyfriends salad was still all there and my drink was all still there. I did mention it to the wait about his salad and my drink and all he said was that he wished he knew earlier so he couldve done something. he shouldve noticed that I didnt touch it and asked if there was anything wrong with it. paid the check in cash our waiter asked if we needed change, I said no and he walked away. that was the last we saw him. he didnt say thank you or have a good night, nothing. definitely will not go back to that location.

My friend & I went there and our waitress came to order our drinks and left and went to go sit down at the bar & text. Our drinks were waiting at the bar forever! She finally came and gave us our drinks and when we order it took forever and the food came back overcooked and soggy! We couldnt even finish the food it was so gross, so when the waitress came back we told her how horrible the food & service was and she said the meal was on them & apologized. An hour later at the movies my friend ended up getting food poisioning from Green Mill.

Me and my family/friends have only had 1 bad experience within the multiple years we have been going here. Great Happy Hour appetizers, but sometimes the service isnt the greatest (drink refills, waiting on a check and doggy bags, dirty bathroom, etc) But we have always left the place feeling satisfied, food wise. I recommend the boneless Diablo Wings and the Spinach Artichoke Flatbread for Happy Hour.

The first time my family and I went, the restaurant was dirty to the point of being off-putting. Thinking it was just a bad day, we went again with the same results. In addition, this next time we went they had terribly slow service while they were dead. In the past weve liked Green Mill but wont ever be returning.

Service was horrible, went in and was seated out side and told that some one would be right with us. 30 min later no one showed, when I went in to ask on of the servers if anyone knew we where out side he said no and just walked away like it wasnt his problem.

We waited for a whole hour, just waiting for our waitress to bring us our bill. She brought out our box without the bill. She kept coming out of the kitchen, but with another persons order instead of our bill, and were still waiting.

Service was slow and when we asked for the check the waitress came by constantly without giving it to us. Sadly my experience could have been better.
