Two things I like about this place. (1) Great location, right off 35W and County Road B2. (2) Great selection of board games you can go and play for free. Its nice to have the option to try out a game before you buy. Two things I dont like about this place. (1) Menu is way too overpriced, for example its around $12 for a burger. The burger itself is very good and on par with something you could get at a better than average diner or tavern. However, for that price youd think they could throw in a handful of fries or some sort of small side. The items priced at $5 are the smallest portions you will ever see. Would like to see cheaper snack options and/or larger portions for cheaper apps for current prices. (2) If the interior was completely empty youd think it was a warehouse. Because of this, despite shelves of games, and tables throughout, sound travels really easily. Therefore on a busier night, which is most days, it can get fairly loud with just background noise. As someone who is sensitive to sound this can get very distracting. The best way Ive found to circumvent this is by reserving a corner table, but I would highly recommend FF to hang some sort of fabric on the higher end of the walls and on the ceiling to help muffle the sound.

This new gaming center is HUGE! I will clarify though, it is gaming in the social and old-fashioned sense: boardgames, pen and paper, miniature war gaming, and other associated styles of play. FFGC also has an in-house cafe, serving great food, coffee and tea drinks, and (best of all) a moderate selection of local beers on tap for the older crowd. Personally recommend the pulled pork sandwich over fries, with a hearty splash of Franks Redhot. Quite hopping most evenings, with a friendly atmosphere, theres always someone willing to introduce or play a pickup game with. If your looking for a place to settle in and maybe paint some of the vast array of miniatures they sell, there is a large area dedicated to painting workstations, featuring desk lamps, and a dirty water discard bucket. Gaming tables are abundant, and they have several terrain rich, pre-built miniature tables for playing on, as well as an intricate urban map table. Plus the usual shelf of individual terrain pieces for designing your own battle layouts. Overall, an excellent place to spend an evening gaming or constructing miniatures, with a pleasant and sociable atmosphere. I recommend stopping by and seeing for yourself!

This place is amazing. The game wall is free to try out any board game. The community of people is always polite and welcoming. The food is actually a lot better then what I was expecting (except for the nachos all that is is melted cheese over corn chips). I would recommend the fries or any of the burgers. The staff is extremely polite and they know their products. The cooks do an amazing job making sure the food is quality. The centers bathrooms are actually CLEAN. I feel I have to say again because of how rare this is. THE BATHROOMS ARE ALWAYS CLEAN!!!! They pay great attention to make sure people have a nice visit to their store. The only complaint I would have is that Fantasy Flight Game developers (their game designers not the game center) does not seem to communicate to well with the store when it comes to shipments and relase dates. For example I drove all the way out to Roseville 45 minute drive to pick up a copy of Wiz War for my brothers party. Their website said it would be released but the store had no idea of release dates and told me to come back later. My brother went by an hour later and they were in the process of putting it on the shelf.

I really wish there were more places like this. Whenever my friends and I are bored and want to find something fun and free to do we always come here to play a board game. Their board game collection is huge! Weve frequented this place a lot and weve barely scratched the surface of whats to offer. The board games rarely do not have all the necessary equipment to make it unplayable, but whenever it does the staff always have extra supplies handy. One of the biggest positives of coming here as well has been the cafe. They have a pretty good variety of food(Mostly bar type foods) making it one of the few places to snack on food, grab some drinks, and play board games late into the night. If you want a fun way to kill some time I would definitely recommend going here. The staff are friendly, always free games to checkout, and overall a fun way to spend the night.

Lots of tabletop space for gaming, with an expansive game library if you want to check out something new. Kind of loud, because there are a lot people there, which is great if you wanna make new friends or dont have enough players for your favorite game. They serve mediocre food, as well as overpriced beer and wine. But whatever, they have a captive audience, and neither price nor quality are bad enough. The one complaint I actually have is that this place draws a clientele that seems to thrive on conforming to every nerd stereotype. Walk in the door on a Saturday night and get hammered in the the face by a physical wall of B.O. Hairstyles are really questionable, but the headwear is worse. Fat guys make awkward conversation with visibly uncomfortable women. Pants riding low enough to satisfy that one guy who poses behind people at MtG tournaments.

Important: Gaming tables are available via reservation only, and reservations need to be made at least 24 hours in advance. They are very strict about that. THAT TABLETOP GAMING AREA IS HUGE. Teeny tiny selection rpg selection. Though, thats to be expected when a game publishing company runs a store. Lots of their stuff, not a ton of other stuff. Personally, I was looking for minis, of which there were none that fit my extremely generic DnD 5e needs (they do have all the 5e books, just wasnt looking for those). There was almost no product that I was actually looking for, but Im sure if I was in the market for what they had, I would be in heaven. Theres also a cafe. 5 stars for functionality, and form, -1 for overall game accessory selection.

Nerd Heaven! Did you ever wish there was a place that all of us introverts could go and be around our like. Well here it is ladies and gentlemen. A huge environment with ample gaming space for all minitures and board games. A gigantic wall of games available for free use, want to play some games with the kids or relatives visting but your selection in lacking, theyve got you covered. Looking to learn more about a specific board or miniture game, they got lots of visitors that play and are willing to teach you! Great environment, great people, good food and good times! Fantasy Flight Games Center, a place to get together and game!

Awesome place play games, eat good food, and hang out with friends! The space is clean (especially the bathrooms), and the staff is informed and friendly. Good, solid management. The selection of games to sell as well as to try out in the library is great! I not only come here the play games and RPGs with friends, I like to come here after seeing a movie at the nearby Rosedale AMC because most night they are open until MIDNIGHT!! :D The space fills up fast on busy nights, so I recommend coming earlier rather than later, or even better, reserving a table 24 hours in advance. So all in all, geek heaven! <3 <3
