Long story, but I went WAY out of my way (and spent $38 on an Uber) to get to the course, with a tee time, but when I arrived they informed me that there was a league that was moving too slowly and IF I was even able to start my round I likely could not finish... All for my $100 (including rental clubs). Bummer. And OUCH to my wallet. I didnt spend the $100 but Im out the $38... And now I have to get back to town. And I didnt play any golf. The staff didnt exactly bend over backwards to help a guy who had just flown in from out of town, either. They were mostly indifferent. The best offer they had was to play only 9 holes, but that was going to cost $80 including the club rental. All in all a very frustrating experience with the course. It looked pretty from the road as I was driving away (hence the two stars instead of one), but I am very frustrated right now.

Gorgeous course. Presents a very fair challenge to the golfer, very friendly staff, and the course was in spectacular shape despite the incredible heat and the guys in the pro shop mentioned it had gotten 5 inches of rain the previous night. The Par 3 over the water is awesome. This is right up there with Troy Burne as one of my favorite courses in the Twin Cities.

As others have said, Great staff and Challenging but fair holes. Very good condition. Ive had nothingbut fun at Legends. Pace of play good, staff fair and respectable. Very good food, Great practice area. Greens are true but tough to putt. No gimmees to be found.
