Long time customer, been going there ever since it open . But there was two incident that make me question their safety standards: 1) a while back the city was doing some work on the water pipes near by , and the tap water had a yellowish tint look to it, its always advice not to use the water when this is happening.(afterwards we found out this was happening) On that day we had order some small lemonade for our kids and didnt notice the color , because of the lemonade, BUT we also order plain water , thats how we knew that somethings wasnt right with the clarity of the water . We ask them for a different cup thinking it might have just been a bad fill, but the cup of water came back with a yellowish color . We told them about this and that the water is not clear it had a yellowish tint to it, but they just ignore it and kept serving people (We left and didnt go back till 2-3 months later) 2) this happen recently: This time my wife had given our 4 year old girl some cook spinach and when she went to eat it , she pull out some MEATAL thing (the only way to describe it is like when you drill into metal and get that spiral metal shaving) , once again we inform the waiter and he just took it and left.. Maybe to the back to inform them, I dont know BECAUSE , no one came back to apologize or to check on us ! Main point is NO MANAGER came to Apologize or check , business went on as normal , NOT a care in the world . This will be our LAST time going there , no matter if it is a decent restaurant, these safety issues was not address and brush aside . Its only a matter of time till someone get ill and sue them

Its a rather large buffet with choices you dont normally find at Asian buffets like barbecue pork buns and the cleanest koi pond (and largest) I have seen. Its worth checking out certainly, but dont expect a fine dining experience. Its usually crowded but for good reason. The chicken on a stick is probably the best I have had at any buffet when fresh and I want to say that at least in my experience the food has been fresh and seems like a bit higher quality than similar buffets. They also have a Mongolian grill like setup that is pretty simple and limited however rather tasty. The point of these buffets are to fill your hunger and enjoy yourself which has been my experience so far. My only real criticism is the beverage service can be a bit lacking and if you go at a slower time you run the risk of lesser food quality but that is for any buffet really. Its worth checking out, its certainly not your average Asian buffet and the decor is a very nice touch for the big open atmosphere to enjoy your food.

This place is ridiculous. I assume every other Chinese buffet within 50 miles went out of business. Its huge. Not just the food selection, but the seating area, and if you come in on a Sunday afternoon, itll be full. Of the local Asian community, with plates full of only the seafood. I assume its the white guys eating fried rice that make the overall profitability of this place. Theres sushi (mediocre, but meh), all the classic Asian-american treats, random stuff like Pizza or French fries, a shockingly decent salad bar, decent dim-sum, a "Mongolian-bbq" style build-your-own stir-fry, and a rather impressive selection of fresh fruit. Depending on the time and day, you can get shellfish, fried fish, steamed fish, crab, frog legs, and snails. Prices range from 10 dollars for lunch during the week to 16 on the afternoon when the seafood is out in full force. This includes drinks! Drink as much coke as you want! Tea also, which is better. Drink that tea. Overall, its fairly cheap, hugely varied, and tasty.

The decor at Super Moon Buffet is lovely and restful -- the huge koi ponds to each side of the entryway drew admirers of all ages. I cannot address the question of the dim sum or the sushi (although everything looked fresh and lovely), but the Mongolian grill was a pleasure. There were plenty of fresh ingredients, including the usual meat proteins PLUS lamb. Although dishes are cooked one at a time, the grill is extremely hot and the process goes quickly. My friend has Celiac disease; the young man at the grill very graciously cleaned his grill and his cooking sticks at her request so as to minimize her chances of contact with soy sauce. While I do not typically frequent buffets, this is a lovely place, the food is presented nicely and looks beautiful, the food I consumed was fresh and done in an appropriate manner, and the serving staff were courteous, quick, and regularly checked with us to see if we needed beverage refills. This is a great place for the family.

Havent did an update as a review for Super Moon Buffet in a long time. This independent restaurant has become a revolutionary success! It staggered in the past but changed a lot for the better in the future. The food is awesome and the sushi is even better then before. You can now get tofu sushi which is pretty epic. I always come here and our regular server memorizing what drinks we want and he makes sure to fill us up with care and consideration and such a nice hard working modest attitude and I always like to leave him a nice tip along with the Mongolian stir fry masters. For the price you pay it is well worth it because you get a vast variety of food along with many optimizing options. You can come here as a vegetarian, or an omnivore and they will have your selections off the bat. I always like to support the independent businesses first and Super Moon Buffet takes dedication at making things splendid. So nice service, nice people, and excellent food.

"Mediocre and Overpriced" - Would be great words to describe SMB. I have been here a handful of times, and one time it can be GREAT, and the next time, it can be downright AWFUL. I figured if I averaged my visits over the past few years, it averages to be the three stars (out of five I gave). Super Moon Buffet is huge, dont get me wrong. This is, however, going to be your typical Chinese buffet. They have an average Sushi Selection, Mongolian Grill, etc. The Mongolian grill delivers some of the best food, because it is prepared right in front of you. The other selections, at times, can be very picked over, and temperature of the "hot" foods can vary greatly. There are many Chinese buffet restaurants around, and Super Moon should stand out to be super but in reality the buffet is just Mediocre at best.

My first experience there wasnt so great. Only because when I went up to the buffet to grab a plate, the very first plate I grabbed had a chunk of grease stuck to the bottom, I had to go wash my hands. It also took our server two tries to get our drinks to us; he couldnt remember what we ordered. The food WAS pretty good. I loved going there when they were serving steak chunks in A1 sauce but they recently took that away. I would avoid the sushi bar. They dont have dimsum. They have shumai. The decor is great. My baby brother loves the fishies in the pond. I would recommend this place to family and friends however I wouldnt go there to eat unless theres a big family dinner and everyone wanted buffet and my opinion is drowned and muted out by hungry relatives.
