I used to order from this location 2-4 times a week usually the same thing each time and most of their drivers know me and my order. I called last week to place my usual order it normally take 30 to 40mins at most to get my order delivered since I am 5 blocks away. Last week it took them 2 hours to get my food to me and on top of that it was cold! The driver drove around for another order all over downtown for an hour and a half. I called to complain and the girl that answered was rude. So finally I speak to a manager and she says she will just put a note under my phone number for a credit. So I call back today to try to give this another shot and nope nothing there. So after waiting on hold for 20 mins Im told there is nothing they can do and they should have sent me a gift card in the mail and to call back tomorrow when the owner is there. Really? On average I spend almost 80 on just food and that doesnt include tip each week. And to not own up to your mistake by one of your drivers not doing their job right and your manager that day not doing their job. I will waste my money on a different place.

Wonderful food for the most part. In fact, we love ordering from here and have always had good service and good food until today. We had TERRIBLE customer service. We had two very rude individuals today. The first person who took our order by phone interrupted me, was very rude, wouldnt answer my questions, never said thank you, and hung up. The delivery guy called 2 times in 2 minutes when were in a massive hotel in a conference that takes time to get down the elevator. Once we got there, he never said thank you, was short, rude, and again showed terrible customer service. Disappointing from a place we really liked before.

Keys Cafe has always been the spot to go for breakfast--great food that always comes out of the kitchen fast and consistent. I recently discovered a little known secret: they have a fantastic happy hour and bar at their downtown location in the Foshay Tower. Ordered up some wings, and from what I can tell they finish them on the grill which gives them more flavor than the greasy wings you find at the usual "wing" joints. Not to mention the granite bar with TVs for the game! Not only the best breakfast, now its a personal fav for drinks, apps, and watching the game. Definitely worth checking it out.

I went there the other day and they double-charged my credit card. I dont normally check my statements but thank goodness I did and caught it otherwise nothing would have been done. When I called to tell them about it, they told me that they have been having trouble with their POS system and double charged a lot of other people that day. Then he told me they were busy and to call back. Are you serious?! You double charged me, made me call to request a refund, then you tell me to call back?!? Ha! I will NEVER give Keys my business again.

Not sure why this is highly rated. We had breakfast this morning and the food was average, coffee watery and service uneven. Note to management: the hostess that "greeted" us as we entered this morning (curly hair and glasses) literally scowled at us as we entered. Please stop hiring angry millennials to serve as the face of your business. Unless she is the daughter of the owner. Which would be the only circumstance that explains her dark presence. Prices are definitely at Tourist Trap Levels. Will not be back.

$5.75 for a tiny cup of fruit. $2.35 for a cup of tea (I took liptons, but they offered Tazo also) $1 EXTRA for peanut butter on your toast!! This is what really got me. And of course they didnt mention the extra cost when I was ordering (or on the menu). My co-worker was also charged $1 extra for basic toppings on her sandwich - again not mentioned when she ordered. Look outside of downtown for a better restaurant - right across the river in NE Mpls is a lot less pretentious!

While visiting Minneapolis last month my family and I stopped by Keys three times, once for dinner, once for lunch, and once for a late night dessert. The restaurant has great atmosphere being located in the Foshay building. The food was delicious, especially the lemon bar that I got for dessert one night, and the service was fantastic. Keys at the Foshay is on our list of places to visit again the next time we are in Minneapolis.

I ordered a burger with onion, tomato, swiss cheese, avocado, garlic, with fries. Apparently any addition on the Build your own burger menu adds $1.99 to the bill, and the fries were a whopping $4 (which anyone but Andre the Giant could put a dent in). I ended up paying $22 for what I consider a $12 burger (being generous). If you want a burger with more than just a patty and bun be forewarned of the sticker shock.

Stopped here for breakfast on a whim. Had the two-egg (scrambled)/hash brown special served with toast and homemade strawberry jam, which was served fast. The portion was large, the flavor a little bland. My order included a $3.49 cup of tea which seemed a little steep to me. The waitress who served me was polite and attentive. Not a bad experience overall but I also dont feel compelled to visit again...

I went there with a great friend and we ate dinner, but we choose breakfast to eat. Im allergic to eggs so I couldnt taste her food but it looked and smelled delicious. She could however taste mine and loved it. I know I did. The waitress was awesome sauce too. Wish I could take her everywhere when we eat out. Shes the best I had in a long while. Thanks keys for being awesome and delicious! !

Im waiting for a table right now. I went to the bar to order a bloody mary and three bartenders washed dishes and totally ignored me standing right in front of them. I had my wallet out and was ready to order. I stood there and stood there and stood. I was totally ignored. If I wasnt with a large group Id leave the building all together.

Meh. Ended up here for business lunch. Just wasnt impressed. Much darker and dingier than the photo would make you believe, and smells like a greasy spoon. People rave about the breakfast, but the lunch wasnt anything special. Asked for a patty melt medium, got a hockey puck sized well done patty.

Boyfriend and I came here for breakfast on a busy Sunday morning, the wait wasnt too bad about 20 minutes but our service was amazing, I cant remember what our servers name was but he was on top of his game all morning!! We got our food super quick and it was delicious!! We will definitely be back!!

Loved the staff, ambiance, and food selections. I had egg salad, chili & choc. Malt for dinner. At around 2 am woke from dead sleep very sick for approx. a day and half. Ive had food poisoning before, and I suspect this may have been that. I should have tried something well cooked perhaps?

I will gladly return to consider the fifth star. I hurried in after a 15 year absence with memories of personal, cheerful service, solidly satisfying home cooking and baked goods. All are still present. The bar is new to me, and Ill make my return for happy hour.
