First off, Id like to clearly state that my review is for the TCF bank in cub. Not the grocery store itself. Im upset with the customer service I recieved at TCF. I opened an account with them exactly 45 days when I went to this. I have cashed two checks from work prior to this, at SunRay and Tammarack village (I highly recommend going to those instead) so I went in expecting to be able to cash my check here and take some cash with me (like I have the other two times... I was told I couldnt cash my checks unless I had an account with them so I made an account solely to cash my checks). I interacted with a woman named Sara, who had a attitude of a sixteen year girl getting her phone taking away. Anyway, she told me I couldnt cash my check from work because my account was new. I was severely confused and asked her to elaborate on why. She said because my account was only 45 days old, I didnt build a trust with the bank. Ive NEVER been negative in my account and for the first 35 days or so, I just kept $25 in it. And I was explicitly told that I had to open an account to cash my checks. I told her Id be back in a few so that I could discuss my issue with my significant other. I came back, and asked to speak to a supervisor. She asked me what it concerned and I just politely stated I was confused about why my check couldnt go through. She then went into a back room with the manager for about 5 minutes talking. They both came out laughing which I felt was disrespectful because I honestly felt like she had intervened and somehow sabotaged my service. (They were back there for awhile.). The manager then saw me after her next customer and stood by what Sara said. Sara also felt like she had to be up her managers ass to help her handle my situation when there was a line of 4 people behind me. I told her I didnt understand because I hadnt had that problem the other two times before. Sara told me it was up to the managers discretion to accept or deny my check but when I asked the manager she kept saying it was something with policy but she could not tell me exactly what policy it was. The manager (her name is Yer) was still very polite in the transaction while Sara was not. Feedback from a customer, please be consistent in your customer service and dont hire people with the attitude of bratty teenage girls, because even if I was able to cash my check- I still wouldnt go there.

My favorite Cub! The employees are knowledgeable in their particular departments, the deli, bakery and produce are always fresh and theres always a sale. Best pharmacy too - the pharmacists and techs actually take the time to learn your name and are efficient and friendly. And if you dont like longer lines dont go to this - or any grocery store for that matter - during peak hours.

I asked someone if they had an item, he went in the back to look when he came back out he said yes we have it but I am not going to get it out. What when I worked in grocery stores this was never optional if a customer wanted something that was in store they got it. Also they need to open more check out lines I feel like I stand in line to checkout longer then it takes me to shop.

I love shopping here all the time! this is my second fav cub foods! employees are nice and will help you all the time, the only thing that bothers me is when u ask an employee were something is and they just point where instead of showing u! i think cubs needs to work on that a little more..

Im not a fan of this particular cub. It has a large layout, but seems to be organized differently than all other grocery stores. I can never find what I need. Also, its always a lot busier than the other grocery stores in the area.

Never again! Poor selection. Expired food packages. long waits during checkout, while staff figures out EBT/food stamp payments. Want to wait literally 20 minutes in line? go here.

I buy my groceries here, they typically have everything I need. The staff is quiet and doesnt bother you by being overly helpful, but are always around if you need them.
