I wasnt going to write this review, but I just checked my bank statement and discovered my waiter gave himself a $4 tip. Lesson learned: always keep your duplicate statement for evidence. Sigh. At any rate, this was my first trip to this cafe. Ive driven by many times and it always looks like a happening place. I had my three kids with me and the groups of retired people smiled at us when we walked by. The person (aforementioned ethics-free waiter) who served us seemed bothered that we were there and was equally irritated that my kids were poking around in the (kid level) candy bins. I purchased two muffins, a cup of coffee, three suckers (candy bins), a yogurt, and a breakfast burrito (this should NOT come to $20). With three kids and all of those items, he didnt seem happy when I asked for a tray. Nor did anyone offer to bring out the burrito when it was finished (note: three servers, no line). In general the service was crap, the food was mediocre. It was clean, however, and decorated nicely.

Cute Cafe, good food. The service is really slow and its not because of the prep time for the food its the employees working there. Ive been here many times and a majority of the times the girls working are standing around talking, Last time I was there there was a guy that ordered food and went and sat down at a table, when his food was done they called his name. He obviously didnt hear them because he didnt get up to get his food. Instead of the employee bringing his food to him, they were standing there talking bad about another employee all for other customers (like me) to observe and overhear while his food got cold. Bad customer service when the boss isnt there I guess.... Everything else I like about the place.

I love stopping here for their breakfast sandwiches. They are made with lots of meat and tons of cheese. Also I enjoy a high maintenance soy vanilla white chocolate mocha with light whip, which they can make quite well. Other than being a old foggies joint most mornings, this place is awesome. Food is better than Caribou, however caribou has them beat on coffee.

My family members and musical friends have played music and supported this business frequently since it opened. Unfortunately, the current manager runs a militant shop and really should be fired! My family looks forward to returning for music and food in the future but not until the unfriendly manager is gone.

Coffee was fine. Drive thru service was so slow. One person ahead of us ordered drinks that were taking 10+ minutes to make and the barista didnt think to move them ahead. Ended up going inside to pick up the coffee, where the orderer was still waiting when we left.

The food there is great, friendly workers, free Wi-Fi, awesome smoothies, relaxing area next to a fire place. i really would recommend this place for quick lunch/dinner or for a cool drink in the summer time.

Love their Southwestern flat bread sandwich!! SO GOOD!! Actually everything I have tired-- I have loved! Great wraps! PB&J or hot dogs for those picky little eaters! Super cute little place! Good service!

From what Ive seen its much better to avoid espresso when outside of the cities. Im not sure how people learn to make it but a YouTube video could teach you how to do it correctly.

My mocha tasted like regular coffee with cream...I had a mocha here 3 or 4 years ago and didnt like it, but thought I would give the local business another try. Wasted $4.

The cashier decided it was OK to give herself a 20% tip today. NOT COOL. I did not give a tip AT ALL and somehow there IS a tip. I DO NOT RECOMEND BLACKWATER COFFE & CAFE!
