Ignore the woman whining about lunch. Its a coffee shop, not a bistro; If you want food go another block and order chicken strips from Babes (Sooo crispy!). The woman whos owns it took the run down coffee shop around 2008 and completely revamped the place. Then she took what used to be the old bank and turned it into the After Hours Wine Bar. She kept the historic bank vault and turned it into the wine cellar. As far as the coffee shop, an iced Americano with cinnemon and half & half will cool you off nicely in the summer. If you want something warmer in the frozen times of MN, the Cougar or Panther (named after the north and south hs football teams) will do nicely. The scones there are phenomenal and not dried to a cracker like crisp, no matter what flavor you get. If you are unfortunate enough to miss their hours, just go in through the wine bar and ask nicely and theyll make you coffee (the two are connected so its nbd). Its an awesome place for coffee and their soup is decent, but if you want food just walk a bit down to Babes. Theyre both great.

My husband and I stopped by this place for lunch in early April and were very disappointed. There were only 2 women working. 1 woman was the cashier and the other woman was making the food. The one making the food was VERY RUDE and loud and was yelling at the woman running the register. The woman making the food didnt even have a hairnet on or gloves when she was fixing the food. We almost left, but figured wed give the place a try. We both ordered soup and Sandwiches and it took 45 minutes to get our food. They were very understaffed for the busy weekday lunch time. The food was okay, but I dont recommend going here for lunch. At least the woman running the register was nice and friendly. The woman making the food was very unprofessional and rude in front of the customers. They need to either add more staff or give a lesson on customer service. For a coffee cafe we expected a quick lunch, not from this place !

Stopped here for a quick coffee and some work, ended up staying for an early lunch. The atmosphere here is fantastic and both the coffee and food were top-notch. I would highly recommend this location as a great place to relax, enjoy some reading or just get away for a moment. The only reason I am not giving five stars is the Wi-Fi was very slow for some reason. It was difficult at times with slow loading, which made it more of a struggle for doing the work I wanted to complete. It was accessible, but some may find the speed frustrating.

Had a great experience! I like to drink wine, but dont know a whole lot about it. During my visit there they taught me about a wine flight, it gave me the opportunity to try four different wines, either all red or all white. I choose the red flight, and loved them all. The sweet red was my favorite. also ordered the spinach articoke dip.. that was amazing. The place is so quaint and pretty inside, very enjoyable experience. Well reccommended! In the summers I here they have a great patio, cant wait to check it out!

Bartender/waitress was very nice and attentive. Environment is quite pub like, rather than lounge like Id want for a wine bar. Minimal variety of wine (e.g. one Merlot) for somewhere focused on wine. The food looked amazing (we didnt order any, but it looked great). Menu was not easily updatable so it did not reflect some changes, such as one wine being swapped out due to availability. The place is cute and in an interesting building. It just needs to mature a bit as it is still quite new.

Ordered an iced coffee and realized it wasnt my thing. They offered to replace it at no extra cost. I noticed that the service was very friendly toward other customers and the lady working there (owner?) knew all the locals names and orders. She also made sure to answer any questions that the customers had, all with a smile. Good atmosphere and exactly what you want from a small town coffee shop.

I had to meet in Lakeville for a meeting and found Mainstreet via Google maps. Its a very cute cafe/coffee shop ! Quiet, clean, and well decorated. Staff are very friendly. WiFi is free and fast. A great place to study or relax and a much more satisfying experience than cookie-cutter chain coffee shops.

I love this place. I know the owner personally and some of the staff, and they all rock. Really good food on both sides, the wine bar and the coffee shop. I love a good ol' coffee shop and not some corporate stand in a line all day for an overpriced coffee...coffee shop...cheers mainsrtreet.

My wife and I have been here for lunch about a dozen times. The soup / sandwiches have been consistently excellent. Fresh bread and ingredients. Very clean, fast and great ambiance. I almost never write reviews... this place earned it. You wont be disappointed.

Fantastic customer service. My phone had died and they let me use their charger. Extremely helpful and friendly place. I had their chicken bacon panini and it hit the spot. Look forward to coming back here when Im around there area.
