It was my first time going there and I wanted to try something new because I always go to the wild boar. I ordered the American style burger it has BBQ Sauce, bacon and cheese on it. They came out with it and automatically notice that the bacon had cheese on it and they poured BBQ sauce all over my burger which was very messy. The cheese got very clumpy on top of the bacon to I picked it off. The fries were dry and had no season in them and same with the burger it was vey dry. I feel like they should have a side of BBQ sauce that comes with the burger and honestly I think the cook didnt know what he was doing because who puts cheese on top of bacon? Youre suppose to put it on the burger so stupid. I sat there and just ate it but I shouldve said something about it to them. I will never go back there again and wild boar is so much better than them. :)

Two stars for ambiance, location, and friendly wait staff. There are sports bars that serve grub like they did years ago and ones who have upgraded to offering good veggie options for those of us who appreciate low fat menu items with their beer. Several weeks ago I emailed the owner about their pathetic offering of a house salad - cardboard tomatoes, stale mushrooms, and NO cucumbers (as promised) - all on a bed of cost-cutting head lettuce. Who the hell makes a salad out of head lettuce any more with all the other greens available out there! So, the owner never responded and last night I was there again and the same salad was on the menu (I checked the ingredients before I declined). So, if you want OK high fat pub food - have at it - and enjoy this nice spot - but lower your expectations for, you know, 21st century options.

One of the worst meals Ive had in a long time. Terrible service too. Sat at the bar and had a bartender who was doing everything but waiting on the customers (me). Place was deserted on a Saturday night. Bar was filthy. Hadnt been wiped down in a while. I had to do it with my drink napkin since the bar was all wet with spilled beer. Nachos were ice cold when they arrived, burger was okay but came about a minute after the appetizers. Had to ask for (1) menu - which was tossed at me (2) napkins - after the food arrived (3) knives, forks - none offered with dinner (4) condiments - ditto (5) water. Never again.

Subs! Went in for lunch and got the Turkey sub on a recommendation by friend who swears by them. Subs were huge! but size is not all. The bread was def not fresh as advertised and there was not enough turkey. Cmon Turkey is pretty cheap. Had Cajun fries, which came out looking great but with a weird aftertaste like it was fried together with a hamburger. Overall recommend to skip the BIG10, sadly you can get a much better sub at Jimmy Johns or Subway for less than half the price. .

Ive been eating at the Big Ten for 27 years. I started in Stadium Village at college. Ive had two things off the menu, ever: the half assorted sub, and the sun belt burger (once). Probably about 500 half assorted subs. The sub still tastes the same! I crave it. And the Hopkins location is a worthy successor, and softens the blow of the loss of the original location. Long live the Big 10!

Good atmosphere, good food. Food came out quickly (10-15mins) Portions were good on the entree, our appetizer was skimpy for the price. Bartender was gruff, but warmed up after 30mins. Handled the bar quickly, took him awhile to get around to the tables.

The food was ok, the service was better than ok. In the end, my debit card turned out to have a block on it due to suspected fraud and they let me write a check. It saved me a lot of embarrassment (and I was embarrassed anyway!)

Had a quick bite and food was so so, nothin special. Service was brutal as the bartender spilled half of my beer and left me to sit in it. I really hate complainers at restaurants, but I had to comment on how bad my visit was!

Big Ten is a fantastic little spot on the heart of downtown Hopkins. Great spot for crabby online reviewers, but also a great spot for locals who appreciate a hard-working staff to serve said crabby online reviewers. Cheers!

This place is nothing special. Wait staff.....well, makes you do just that...wait. We had the nachos...chips were stale and the burger was par at best. Two pattys flopped on a bun. Better food and service elswhere.

I didnt have time to eat dinner during my visit, but the menu looks good. I did have dessert with my cocktail and I want to return for more of that. I also saw that adult milk shakes are made there...Mmmmm.

I loved the patio on a sunny summer/fall day. The salads here are BIG and filling, which is unusual for a bar & grill ... I would recommend them.
