Would not recommend for vegan or vegetarian people. Im vegan and tried to get a veggie dish without the sauce, because all their sauces are premade and have fish sauce in them and the waitress flatly said, "But it wouldnt taste good." I eat steamed veggies and rice all the time; I dont mind the lack of taste. After a long time going in and out of the kitchen and at the register when she said she would ask the cooks about a fish sauce less option, she said they could make a sauce without fish sauce, but I didnt think she understood what vegan meant. She had a really unsure tone telling me all this, so I just passed. There were only one our two tables of couples and I was with one person dining in. A lot of people were coming and going with to go orders. Only 2 people were waitressing and taking care of the take out orders. Food took about 45 minutes to come out. The person I was with ordered an appetizer that took about 30 minutes to come out. There obviously shouldve had one or two more people working. The person I was with enjoyed the food but was very hungry by the time it arrived.

Exceptional Thai food!!! Spring Rolls were amazing. Pho was excellent, temperature hot, lots of shrimp, pork, and chicken. Amanda was an excellent server. The Pho (pronounced) Fa is brought out completely mild (no hot spice at all). You add your own spice. The hot oil pepper is homemade and one of the BEST Ive tried. 2 large spoonfuls had me crying it was so hot. Exceptional service, food is prepared fresh so this is not fast food. This is my new favourite Thai place, and its only a couple miles from home. Bravo New Bangkok you are awesome!

Excellent food! We did carry out tonight and I had the Peanut Curry Coconut Milk dish with Scallops and vegetables. That was the best Thai meal I have ever had. If you havent been to this restaurant you are definitely missing out. Customer service and pricing were also outstanding. They even ask how spicy you want it. I like mild and it was perfect. Thank you New Bangkok!

New Bangkok is our favorite lunch spot in Forest Lake. The food is consistently delicious and the staff is very nice and friendly. They also have great vegetarian/vegan options, which was previously difficult to find locally! Service is fast, portions are large and the prices are very good; I highly recommend that you give them a try if you havent already.

The Pho Soup was Amazing,Most have the Thai Tea it was so good reminds me of California.Service is awesome,its a great atmosphere kid friendly,Most try the sesame chicken as well it was very delicious we did not leave not one bite of food it was that good.I highly recommended this place most try it I myself will go back.

First time here, have to say the service was amazing and the food was even better. I would recommend this place to anyone in Forest Lake MN. We went in the afternoon and there was 5 of us and a 2 year old. Very accommodating and the prices are almost to low for the quality.

Great food, great service! Definitely one of the best restaurants in forest lake. Prices are fair with good portions sizes. Love the curry dishes, they even ask you how spicy you want your meal. We dine here at least monthly, so nice to have a good restaurant close by.

Little hole-in-the-wall family run shop with incredible food! Chatted with the owners a bit & they are super friendly. Have been here three times now in 3 weeks! (We never eat out lol) Also many of the meals are under $10. Highly recommend

Most underrated restaurant in town! Beats China buffet and joy garden hands down! Ive never had a bill break 25.00 $ For two people! Everything thing is fresh, not that old chewy heat lamp stuff like similar restaurants in town.
