If you were thinking "elevated" dining means fine or fancy, it doesnt. It means there are two steps up to get into the dining room. As If thats a thing. I felt completely duped. There was a 4 year old sitting at the bar...pretty sure this is illegal in Minnesota. This place was as expensive as fine dining, but the tvs were on so loud my date and I couldnt hear each other. We were seated at a table that was so small the plates wouldnt even all have fit, had we actually stayed to eat that is. Our chairs were bar stools. When I asked that we be moved, as we werent watching the football game, we were asked to wait while they cleaned off a booth in the bar, no dining room for us? Then the entire place erupted with screams and cursing over the football game and we left. Im all for a good sports bar, but this was completely inappropriate. Babies at the bar, advertising that you are a fine dining place, seating people at barstools when they ask for dining room, charging for fine dining priced food in a sports bar atmosphere. Gross. We went down the street to The Tavern (which also had the football game on, but at an appropriate volume, and fans were not shouting obscenities) and had the best food, service, and atmosphere ever.

**Jalapeno Philly Sliders - Meat was really fatty and overall the whole sandwich was dry. Meat could use some salt - too bland. The jalapenos were nice and spicy! Would not order again. **Ribeye Grilled Cheese - Meat was really bland - dry - needed more sauce on the sandwich overall. Would not get this again. **French Onion - very good!! I would recommend! **Chicken Tortilla - Okay - kind of thick. Lots of chicken, I would probably not get again because of the consistency. **Im going to try Craft again, but will not get anything with the ribeye in it. Lesson learned, twice! :) Im back! **Firehouse Rueben - Really good! I would recommend - SPICY! The corned beef was good and the bread was grilled perfectly! I substituted my fries for their APPLE COLE SLAW! AMAZING! A must try. It was a perfect blend of creamy, vinegar and sweetness. I could have had my whole meal as the slaw! **I changed my review to a four star from a three star because of this last lunch that I had! Well done Craft. Im still leery of the rib eye. :)

We have had our Christmas Party there for 3 years running now. We love booking the back area because it give a illusion of privacy and a "living room" setting. This year we had a little mix up with the details and we were put in the front by the bar. Before I go any further on that note, let me say that the food is 5 star. We have held parties for the last 10 years in the area and for the quality and selection they offer here is unmatched. Chef Jason and his crew do an outstanding job! Well, although we were put in front, the staff went out of their way to make our party a success. The manager made the appropriate concessions and the serving staff was great as always ... and of course, the food was a hit will all our guests. We look forward to next years party - we would be hard pressed to find a better spot.

First time ever that I got kicked out of a restaurant after a very creepy guy kept looking at me and then started to pick a fight with the person I was with. He scared me so much that I called 911. The manager at the Craft Beer & Kitchen restaurant in Woodbury handled the situation very poorly and the owner will be getting a letter and I already canceled my dinner plans there for next week. I eat there regularly with friends and clients as well as vendor meetings there. We also invited clients and friends and attended the 1st annual parking lot fundraiser party. They will be losing a lot of business from us and Ive already contacted friends and clients to let them know that we will no longer meet at the Craft and will take our business elsewhere in Woodbury.

Ordered the Sheri Chicken salad for $12.50. Mind you this salads base is iceberg lettuce. My salad came with approximately 1 cup lettuce and only half had dressing, the rest was dry. I had no issues with the other toppings. We as a table of 6 voted that I should definitely ask for more lettuce and dressing. It truly was on the pathetic side of skimpy. The waitress informed me that the chef said it would be $2 for additional lettuce and dressing. We all looked at each other with "wtf" looks. I politely declined. $2 more for an additional cup of iceberg lettuce? That was a poor call on the chefs side. There are just too many great restaurants in the Twin Cities to argue over a cup of lettuce.

Ive been about three times and ended up here for Valentines Day because of their special menu. We ordered the prime rib, stuffed dover and the lamb chop appetizers. Everything was terrible. The prime rib was beyond salty, tough and cold. The stuffed dover was salty and had no other flavor. The only decent thing were the chops. Also had a couple beers and a bottle of prosecco. Bill was 94 and I wrote on the receipt to the server, "great service, food wasnt up to par :(" with our $16 tip. It looked like a man, possibly the manager was going around asking people how it was around us, but we never got asked. Oh well, close to home, but I wont ever be coming back.

I took my family out to brunch today. The staff were friendly, service was fine. But, when it comes to the food that was served the ham, and pork were very dry and overcooked. The french toast was not cooked all the way so it was still very mushy inside. The bacon was undercooked. The eggs were dry. On the positive side, the cut fruit was edible. I thought I could just settle for fruit and a cup of coffee, but the coffee was full of grounds. Needless to say that we wont be back until there are some major improvements.

The hosts were in conversation and looked as if they wanted nothing to do with me when I walked in. I was meeting a friend, in which my friend told the host to keep an eye out for me as I was only a few minutes late, and they just made me circle the restaurant on my own like a lost dog. As a former host, poor. The food was fantastic though. Presentation, the taste, I loved it all.

The service, food and beer was sub par and the prices not. We would highly recommend the cheese curds as they were fantastic. The beer was just not right (even though they were kinds we had had before, it was like they were old). The food on the menu sounded amazing but tasted like nothing. And the bill reminded us that this was an upscale place. Not going back...

Happy hour 3-6 and 8-close. Great beer selection. The craft beer sampling Thursdays are great. The food is great and the service is fantastic. The crowd leans more toward middle age. The music level is perfect, you can talk but still hear the music. I came here in a bit of a mood but the service has completely changed that.
