Outstanding food. Great quality. Extremely tasty. Ive gone to all the places around Maplewood for "Good" Chinese food. From Yin Yang, to Mings Garden, to the Great Moon Buffet, and many more. I finally got some of this food about a week ago. Sweet & Sour Chicken, and some Chicken Fried Rice. My friends each got something else, and everyone couldnt stop gushing about how amazing it all was. So why did this only get 4 out of 5 stars? Their hours of operation. Closed on Mondays, and the rest of the week they close at 8pm. This hurts a business, especially to not have extended weekend hours. Also they have no real web presence, so you can peruse their "Official" menu, and pricing. Bottom line, the food is outstanding. Their physical location looks like they are putting all their effort into the food, and that it qualifies as a hole in the wall gem, for those who can get the food.

Honestly I was skeptical about trying the food here because the reviews werent all great and when we got here the place was rundown looking with ugly pink decor but honestly this is some of the most delicious Chinese food Ive ever had!! The sesame chicken is the best Ive ever had. The chicken chunks were huge and fried perfectly crispy. Not mushy like most other places. and the pork fried rice and pepper steak were also SUPER TASTY!! Dont be put off by the old reviews or the decor. This place is very, very delicious and people are super nice!!

I was afraid to try this place after the reviews I read online. My son and I went and found this place to be excellent. Yes the building is just like any older building. The service was great. We had no trouble getting drinks refilled, the server came by frequently to ask how it was, if we needed anything. So I was quite pleased.

The items on the buffet menu are made fresh for you and are always good. I really like that the sesame is a good chunk of white meat. My sons loves their chicken and the price is fair. The restaurant is older and a little run down, but overall clean; the staff has always been pleasant we when go.

Have been coming here for years, still one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. The food is good, and thick chow mein, not like the La Choy style from a can, but with real food in the gravy. Favorite Dishes are the Chicken Subgum, Fried Cream Cheese Wontons, Chicken Fried Rice and Chow Mein

Would be helpful to write this review had they answered the phone so we could order!! Weve called numerous times, and there is no pick up. So sad, since the SCII on Rice Street was delicious...Wanted to try this one on this side of town too. Maybe next time!

Run down dirty place, one can tell that the owners dont care about the restaurants image. Makes me think: if the owners dont care how the part that everyone sees looks like, then imagine how much they care about the kitchen, where the food is prepared!

This place is awful, it look literally an hour and a half to get my delivery, the driver way beyond rude, and he tried to short me on my change, lastly, the food was not every good. I would not recommend this place.

Ive been ordering from here since I was little and I LOVE their Chicken LoMein! Its the best! Ive never had any type of problem! The building isnt he best, but I have great amount of respect for these folks

Been coming here for 15 years. Best dishes; chicken chow mein, chicken low mein, egg rolls and egg foo young. We do take out. It is old place, but the food is great. Great value for the money.
