I live in the WSP area and so I have been to this Bakers Square on a few occasions. The first time I went with my BF on Halloween night and most of the staff were dressed up in some degree of costume, which I thought was pretty cool. The food is just as good as any other Bakers Square, but I really like the atmosphere of this location. It is clear the staff get along really well with each other (they were joking around with each other--all within appropriateness--when we were checking-out), which translates to friendly service.

I have a tradition of judging restaurants based on how many seniors go there and there were a lot of seniors for lunch the day we visited Bakers Square. The salad and soup were top drawer, but the free pies (on Wednesdays) topped it all off. As is that werent enough, the waitress was fun, efficient, and generally Minnesota nice. Whats there not to like...I guess the bathrooms could be upgraded, but they were pretty clean.

Almost one year later from Grumpyman and some things are still the same. I found a good variety to the menu, and items I will definitely come back to try, though possibly not from this location. The service was still very slow. It was later evening on a Friday, and the restaurant may have been a third filled, so no excuse of lots of customers. The food was not as hot as it could have been.

Ordered breakfast to go, got home started enjoying the main dish then picked up the Banana Nut Muffin and noticed something funny looking on the side of it...mold...called the store because I could not return to the store and manager said they would mail out a coupon for my "inconvenience", however it never showed up...been a couple weeks. Will never eat here again...

Fast seating, and good food. They tend to under-staffed on busy weekends, but service is always polite. Food quality is very good. Huge portions and reasonable rates. Easy access to and from highway 52 & 494. Favorite regular restaurant for breakfast.

Very popular local option. Menu has excellent variety, and quality of food is outstanding. Atmoshpere is very warm and confortable. Waitresses are always friendly. Service can be slow at times, however. Certainly worth a visit.

Tip: When people are waiting up front to be seated, dont have empty tables up front where everyone can see them. Waiting doesnt usually bother me, but listening to other patrons having a fit is really unpleasant.

I went for 3 pies yesterday and hit a peach pie instead of my apple took it back to get the apple and the second time got home anoanother peach pure what the heck. Not a hid thing on Easter.

Ive been going to Bakers Square since back in the day when it was still called Poppin Fresh, remember that? Good food, good people, fair price. And the monthly special pies are great.
